I can see why Norris Arcade Sticks was really turned off by people’s reactions. Some individuals imagine that time and effort is a free commodity and product/business owners owe it to them to bring products for “at cost.”

Maybe those individuals should also be offering products “at cost” to the rest of SRK. Only then do they realize how much work/effort goes into something, even if it’s as ‘simple’ as a website or outsourcing work.

Yeah, it’s definitely hard having to deal with a lot of BS from people. I appreciate the service, and I would have gotten in on the first order but i’m VERY happy to be on the wait list for the next batch run (if you do a next run).

I just happened to come in here by chance (the title is a little misleading) and discovered the awesome service you were doing :tup:

Everyday I check this thread. Do you have any idea when you might start the next run?

Just got mine today, looks amazing. This is gonna be my first custom stick.

Just out of curiosity what is everyone using to secure the bottom? Just screws, rubber feet or what?

Not sure what the best way to go about this step.

Can you post pics of your progress as you build your stick? I want to see how user friendly the box is and I am sure the rest of the guys want to see what you do with it

also how was the package when you got it? I made sure it was packed pretty good

For sure, have to go pick up the hardware, screws and rubber feet I guess. (Can these be found at any hardware store?) And cut a notch for the cord. Then it’s off to paint it.

I’ll post a few pics once things get underway.

Packing was excellent, bubble wrap and packing peanuts are the way to go. No dings or dents at all.

I was able to get the “rubber stoppers” at homedepot canada in the screws and nails section. They are not rubber feet per say but stoppers for cupboards to prevent the wood doors from banging into the frame (at least that what the homedepot guy said)

Is there any covering on the bottom of the case? if not, what were people planning to do in order to not have the parts exposed on the bottom?

If the bottom is the same as the prototype(picture) im pretty sure using a 3mm plexi will work great. Maybe Joe will enlighten us!
