Hi Joe,
I have tried to send two PM’s to you, but as far as I can tell they are not going through for some reason. Sooooo for the third time here goes
I originaly tried to send a PM regarding the lack of avilability of the JLF and that I had snap in’s ordered, but it apears that the JLF’s are still avilable, just not from the big two from this site. I would not be supprised if they were a bit more expensive, but they are avilable. Also, since buttons are a whopping 2 bucks each I am supprised others are backing out due to this, but money is money, and everyone reserves the right to choose their expenses. So it does not look like I need to cancel my order or anything. Now regarding some info you requested:

6 button guys
if i were to make the last 10 boxes with only the joystick cutout, the buttons holes not drilled… will you guys want that to do “custom” layouts? i can ask the CNC guy to skip the holes if that’s the case

This may be the best option if there the above precut layout is not an option. Would it be possible for you to provide the CNC file you are using for the top so I could modify it and utilize the 6 button layout? I could then find someone locally with a CNC to cut the top. If this were the direction we choose, I would ask for you to not include the joystick cutout either, so I could position it as I would like as well.

I need to cancel my order because I have snap-in buttons / wrong joystick etc…

I know you are trying to come up with a solution for this…but so you do not loose too many more orders what about thining out the top MDF, adjusting the top plexi / accrylic (or whatever it is) to the correct thickness for snap-in’s, bolting or gluing the MDF top portion, then the top plastic would still cover for a seamless look. Well not seamless, but no visable anchors anyway. Just trying to offer some suggestions that would not add too much if any additional expense to the project.
Thanks for the time and energy you have put into this btw, you have a solid box, and I have no doubt that you will end up selling all of them even if it requires waiting till other vendors can get restocked on Joysticks and what not.
Regards,
