With Quick Work you can extend combos by doing M Smart Bomb + Quick Work, H Repuslor Blast xx Spread, H Smart Bombs xx hyper in the corner. You can also call Quick Work with c.H xx unfly to catch people. Its also good because all Iron Man’s good shit is overhead and you can throw it in attack strings to open people up.
I want to talk about air to airs. In theory they are really good but I have trouble landing them in matches. I think the way I try to confirm them, by doing j.H xx ADF xx Fly might be sub-optimal. It works from far away but if I get a close j.H hit it doesn’t work (I should do j.S xx ADDF at that point). Or maybe cancelling j.H straight into fly is your best bet. Basically when you are trying to challenge someone with air normals and the whiff something like Photon Shot or Magnetic Blast do you prefer to try to hit them with sj height j.H the ADDF or ADDF THEN hit them?
Joker’s air to air may very well be the best and most consistent, but I’m really curious what other people are using. Smacking people with giant ass normals in the air is one of the only things this character has going for him so I’d really like to be able to kill off them.
