I also got Live 06, Madden 06, Ultimate Spiderman, and the new burnout. Burnout is off the hook! that game is maad fun. I got all the games Mtv gave away thru out all 3 shows, exept for Fight Night rn3.

I agree with you to a point. What would be the sense of the Empire helping out when our gamers Marevlous, Ricky, Flash, Xecutioner and Santhrax will just obliterate the competition in almost all of the games. However you should not feel that it is a hopeless cause. The Empire is here to help in other ways. If you can figure a way that we can some how contribute other than competiting then perhaps we can work with TGA.

since when was there such a beef with empire.??..seriously, i thought that was kind of a joke. i mean, they are heading in the right direction. i don’t have no beef with empire, shit, friends of mine play on that team. shankar, arturo, and ricky…ricky tought me all i know, i owe him a lot and i will always respect him. this is his living, and IMHO, he’s living the dream. I wouldn’t have spent countless sleepless nights at CF and then mcdonalds if i wasn’t down for gamers, and if they weren’t people i considered friends, even if i never see them. they don’t EVER talk shit to me, and i pay equal respect.
you know what, I could care less about how “good” gamers are though. competition don’t scare me. give me 8 hours a day every day to play games, shit, give anyone 8 hours a day to play and watch that persons name appear on leader boards. pay me to play, I’ll beat anybody. i stand firmly by that.
everyone here is smart, there is no doubt in my mind of that fact. and anyone at tga could be top…SADLY, we all live in a little place called “reality”, and you can’t buy cars or houses or get girls, on a gamers salary…atleast not yet, which is why people like TFGM and Andy and SRK staff and FFA and CPL and all that stuff excites me for the future. If empire and TGA can work together to make money for a common goal and/or passion, then IMO, more power to you. Empire has never hurt me, but Ness, I know about your issues with them, and i feel you. What i was thinking about was to make a video of like 30 minutes length, of amateur quality, that showcases what we’re about. Why let counter strike players get all the glory? We’ve been playing SF longer than that game has existed. WE ARE THE OGs! it’s time to put our money where our mouth is, and considering the current state of 2d and even 3d fighting gaming on a global scale, we need all the help we can get.
And beefs and rivalries will always exist, and naturally that would be a major part of the video.
maybe the video could be titled, “east coast fighters_tga vs. empire” whatever.

FPS games like CS and Day of Defeat and shit are always going to have the popular vote for a few reasons

FPS games have a larger support base. Take a look at the Cyberathelete Amature League clan listing for all the games. We are talking a few hundred thousand people playing FPS’ in that league alone. Nevermind the casual gamers out there.

FPS games are FAR easier than fighting games. When it comes down to it, FPS’s are point and click with a gun you know. Fighting games, well that shit requires pratice, patience, experience. FPS’ are so fucking easy to pick up and be decent at. I played counter stirke for about a month casually before i competed in my first clan match and ended up foing 13 kills and 4 deaths. Not a bad record by competition standards. Figthing games, it took me a months of hard pratice to nearly take Nestor’s team in CvS2 down to its last character.

FPS’s are PC games and thus will have backing from PC based companies. AMD, Pentium, NViDIA, ATI, ect ect all sponsor games to get their names out there. Where fighting game tounriments only have the company that made them to sponsor them, and even then, its not a lot of business to had if they sponsor the tourniment.
I know its bullshit when CS players are competying for 60 grand for the 1st place team and the like, but thats what this country likes, itchy trigger fingers. Life aint fair.
