Also, I am very proud to announce:party: a RANDOM SELECT STREET FIGHTER TOURNAMENT hosted by ANOTHER CASTLE VIDEO GAMES:rock: (date TBD) in the next few weeks… ACVG will select the SF game you are playing randomly through the brackets! thus random select! They will be moving locations to right next door and want the NW to come participate and check out the new store/arcade! I feel that we need to support our locally owned businesses because, its better than most stores first off, and we need a cool spot to pick up our games and kick back.
The details I have so far are, the games are all SF, ie; Street fighter 1,2,3 and 4. entry will be 5-10$ there will be a raffle with some awesome prizes and much more. I will to see if they want to toss the EX series and the alpha series in there as well. Any ideas please post and i will have all the details soon!
ok cool i will try to go to those…no ex series! ^ -^…i will try to make it to the dojo tomorrow, but i’m got plans during the husky game. I am pretty sure i can make it after the game.
Another HYPE night here at the DOJO! we had 24 people at one point in the evening. congrats to Brian, our first UmvC3 tournament winner. We will be having a session next weekend after georgias birthday celebration at Kona kitchen, so come celebrate with us then we can carpool to the DOJO if needed…see everyone saturday!
What a great night, a big thanks to everyone who came out and brought food/drinks to share! Most def a Thanksgiving to remember :china: Major congrats to Brian, our 2time UMvC3 champion! Also, Congrats to Shawn our SSF4 AE champion! He fought his way out of losers to defeat the very person who put him in loser in the first place!

I spoke with the owner of Another Castle and he wants to do the tournament the December 10th which I know is the Dante’s Game clucks event, so im thinking the following Saturday December 17th if it works for him… The tournament will be a 5$ entry, double elimination and start time would be roughly 3-4ish, so we can wrap up there and head to the DOJO! This place also has an ARCADE :nunchuck: if yall didnt know, so please come support, enter the tournament or just come check out the new location and play a few games!

Man the toe-fu dojo is getting a lot of traffic for UMVC3 and its great! I didn’t catch winners of the headband challenges but congrats to winners/defender and dennis for taking umvc3. I also caught evil ryu in the corner of my eye awesome. I’ll be jumping on that train for 2012 heh.
Yay! I learned a lot, especially that playing against Sam’s Iron Fist and then 3 straight sets against Carlos is mad stressful >.>
Jeff, thanks for that post. Those matches were definitely helpful to me. There was a lot I wanted to say mid match. Just in general, whenever you go from a neutral state to deciding to use f.FP is something that impresses me.
For the headband matches, I have FLW vs a Chun and Viper. Were these headband challenges too? I assume it’s Monica and Shawn. Also, what’s Jamie’s handle?
