VS mode is pretty intense if you can actually find someone who has learned the game. Single player has probably the most wonderfully awful voice acting I’ve heard in any game ever.

These are the last couple weeks leading into NORTHWEST MAJORS, so here at the DOJO we are going in competition overdrive mode! We will have the Headband Singles TOURNAMENT this coming weekend 10/29/2011 and NEXT weekend 11/05/2011 we will be attending the GameClucks TOURNAMENT @ Dante’s!! I really encourage people to grind as much as possible until NWM here at the DOJO. During casuals, challenge other players that are better than you to best of 3, 5, first to 5,10 etc… Get those tournament nerves out before the big show! See everyone soon! :china:

great session tonight…thank you Dave for a) showing me I need to learn the Dee Jay match and b) making me laugh too hard with Steven’s “unblockable slide punish”, “Thats going to work every time…”. Not exactly the hype we normally think of to win that movie pass. but very memorable.
Shoutout to Dennis looking 100% better at the guile v honda match than the last time we played. You had me worried after taking game 1 in our set in the tourney. I’m very impressed with the adaptions you’ve made and incorporating the things I told you. Haven’t seen anyone so quickly pick up advice like that without plenty of practice. Whatever you are doing keep it up and you’ll be a killer. LOZ990 for the upsets at NWM!

Thanks Barry. Was a direct result of your advice. You showed me exactly what situations certain normals would work in training mode. I don’t expect people to be so thorough. It helped so much.

Hey guys, my name is Andrew and I’ve been going to Gameclucks for the past few weeks. Been playing with Dennis for a while and he has nothing but good things to say about the Toe-fu Dojo. Would it be cool if I come check it out tomorrow? Unfortunately I can’t make it to the Dante’s thing as I’ll be busy all afternoon but I’d love to be able to play some games later at night.
Of course man! The other DOJO master will have the doors open at normal time. Just bring your stick. No worries about not going to Dantes, i have to duck out of there early anyways lol. All we ask is you park on the street and come ready to battle!

oh man forreal, it was an honor sir :china: I really appreciate all the hard work you put in so we players can just chill and not have to change DC discs all day lol. Also, mad props for helping that pad dante player with that combo, i leveled of that as well. That is what we need, more players that are willing to sit dowm and take 20 mins+ to help and give advice on combos, matchups etc. keep it up sir! One of these saturdays, you should could come out and get some games in here at the DOJO!
