what are you talking about, when did daigo ever use Guile?
lol… haven’t seen to many guiles online but im getting a lot of "your not daigo"esque hatemail because im playing guile. Shit I’ve been playing guile since WW get off my nuts

Guile was broken in WW, everyone used him in the earlier versions of SF including myself.

Guile was one of my character since WW (him, Ryu and Bison) but in the heyday of SFII, people picked characters off of personality and playstyle…never tiers. What were tiers in that day? there wasn’t such a thing, so yes, I remember those days well.
I didn’t really take Guile in til Charlie stepped into Alpha in 94’…then I became obsessed with his playstyle. Again, I loved Charlie because of personality, not tier placement. So I’ve had a great infinity for Guile since WW…but I truly love the bastard(no homo) in SFIV. Yes…in in Vanilla.
You couldn’t pick Bison in WW. Did you like getting owned by cpu Bison?
Idiotcy on my part. I meant CE for Bison…Bison was playable in CE. My mistake. But mostly Ryu for WW, and Guile as secondary (my brother had Guile as his main, and Ryu as secondary.)
What does it matter who played what in the past? What does it matter if you never played SF before SSF4?
Is Shizza less worthy of his Chun because his first SF (or fighting game in general) was SF4?

I was a scrub Guile before Daigo inspired people to play as guile in ssf4 …will this mean i am put in with the new scrubs ?

They play Guile “since whenever”. They still suck balls. But at least they’ve been playing it since the day they were born. And I guess that’s what matters.
A thread whose purpose is to point out that several people feel the need to state when they first started using Guile, so others don’t mock them for using it because Daigo did.

Lol I’ve played a few Guiles this week that did the same shit Daigo does with Guile and I raped all of them with my Bison (dictator)…a decent Bison will never lose to a very good Guile…Daigo’s gonna start getting raped soon he’ll stop using him
Well, Diago was using guile because Seth Killian (Sp!?) asked him too as a favor. Diago has no intention of using guile at all. I’ve been a hardcore guile player since II and stuck by him through everything. Although I am a little upset that all the scrubs flocked to guile because one man used him, I welcome them with open arms because I know those who will use him for that reason were typically flowchat kens.
Plus, Guile rapes bison for free. ;]
