Don’t pretend that there even IS a scene in the US for SNK games because it’s really just a handful of people playing. Dark Geese doing these things in Mexico has nothing to do with the US SNK community so why even bring it up? Although I’ll be fair and say that Dark Geese is the one actually running the tournaments in the US, there isn’t an incentive for people to even begin to give a damn about whatever is going on in different countries when they aren’t even interested in the game.

You hype the underdog when they’re a poor Spanish speaking country. I’ve heard from NUMEROUS people who joined some tourneys you hosted that were no names that you cut them from the tourney to have bigger names step in and play. The biggest example of this is that comes to mind is a Garou tourney you hosted where you cut a player and placed JUSTIN FUCKING WONG who doesn’t even play Garou and played like trash in the tourney to replace him.
I’ll give you one thing, you’re very good at twisting situations to benefit your argument, but that’s all it is, twisting reality to make yourself look like a good guy.

John Grimm- You are speaking about something that is BS that I have talked about on numerous occasions in regards to the Phoenix tournament at DEVASTATION and what have I said? If I cut them it was unintentional and I apologize for that but that was not the goal. However if you all want to keep on believing that go ahead and believe that because that is honestly not what I wanted to accomplish. Once again if that happened I assure you without a shadow of a doubt that you have my word that was not the goal.
Ontop of that guess what? I even offered the guy if he felt I wronged him that much to buy him a hotel for the next tournament AND let him get into everything free…but apparently that isn’t enough you all wanna keep on talking, to the point of THREATS which I will gladly address later.
I find it funny how you people keep going back to the Phoenix DEVASTATION tournament when I have told you all what has happened ontop of that guess what I wasn’t the only one running that tournament, Nocturnal and Giby assisted me with that.

Now since there are NUMEROUS of these types of complaints please talk about them so I can tell you what happened in that regard. I wanna set the record straight on all of these things, whether you all accept it ot not I cannot control that, but I do wanna set the record straight. Maybe if some things can be amended good, but I tell you what, if they are gonna go the threat route even if it’s kidding or not I must warn them that is not the best course of action and it would be wise for them to just stay home.
Not only will I have security, but quite frankly any kind of thuggery and threats simply won’t be tolerated at my events, there may even be depending Marines at the event and even a highly trained Military Company attack dog just to make sure types of thuggery are not even remotely present at these events and this is coming from the Company Boss.
So as I said tell these people even making threats is not the best course of action.

I was there and I don’t recall any of that happening. Unless the guy wasn’t around during the time of tournament. He more than likely got disqualified because he wasn’t there for the tournament on time. If we have to wait for people all the time during tournaments it will never get done on time.
The only big names that signed up for Garou were Bucktooth and Justin. Neither of the two replaced random people, as they both entered the tourney before it even started. I even put people into the tourney while it was in progress, nobody was replaced during the tourney. I was the one running Garou. Justin was one of the first named entered into the tourney. How could he have replaced someone? He played everyone in his portion of the bracket, lost to Noc, then asked to be dropped from the tourney the next time his name was called since he was in an official tourney at Devastation. If someone got dropped from the tourney, they were DQ’ed for not being there 5min after their name was called.
There you go John Grimm this speaks for itself…they were the ones who ran Garou not I…I just went and got them whatever players/whatever they needed. So now hopefully this misunderstanding can be squashed once and for all.
I am thinking some of your friends may need to learn how double elimination tournaments are ran first before IGNORANTLY jumping to premature conclusions and spreading SLANDER AND GOSSIP as what these men above me speak is exactly how things went. Learn how Double Elimination tournaments work before throwing stones at people first and** BE ON TIME** that will avoid all of this.
If you are late you have no excuse you will get DQed every time, if one of my staff members/associates don’t AXE YOU I WILL PERSONALLY, no one is above anyone else, the rules apply to EVERYONE, if you cannot accept that then you do not need to be going to tournaments.
And I will say this once again, with the threats these associates of yours are saying, it is best if they just stay at home. I cannot stress that enough, my tournaments will not cater to people with any type of thuggery or violent behavior. This is coming from my Boss. Anyone that even plays with threats will be banned for life from all events of mine, this is a subject I must make aware to everyone. What you may get away with on this forum maybe or at other events simply will NOT be tolerated at our events/forums.
I hope I have made myself clear, conduct yourself in a professional respectful manner or be gone. Thus I will make an example of these people that have made these threats, they are in turn banned for life from my events. These are not matters we play with lightly, I hope I have made myself clear!

I’m lost what the hell is going on? Who threaten who and why it’s just a videogame.
These same people that thought I cut someone from the DEVASTATION Garou tournament were threatening to “take me out” and better “hope I dont show up again” because of such a small minute issue. Thus due to such a thing I confronted them about that. Now they will be happy to know that has cost them further entry into all events period. They are better off staying at the home because if they show up they will be dealt with swiftly.
Well, to be fair while it looks like “those people” opened their mouth before they actually knew what they were talking about I didn’t see anyone make any threats to you, unless you’re talking about something that occurred offline or else.
(off topic) That said, unless Wong has gotten better since that tourney, I do agree he did play pretty horribly. I mean, people like me don’t even touch the game and he made the casuals me and KenmastersX had at FR last year look like pros lmao
Yeah these threats happened offline, they were stalking me even posting on the Nocturnal vs. Justin Wong Garou videos constantly stalking me acting like they had some sort of power over me. From the school of thought I came from, no one has any power over you unless you give them that power. I showed them pretty quickly I dont tolerate that by quickly banning them from my youtube page.
I simply do not have the tolerance for childish behavior, certainly do not have the tolerance for thuggery, threats or any behavior of that nature. So yes as it stands for that entire group ban for life.
And to comment on the Wong thing, the irony is even if Wong did do pretty bad 95% of the people at that tournament wouldn’t have beaten him and I’d put money on that. Most of the people talking smack at the tournament were ones that wouldnt have beaten him and are looking in hindsight with their egos in the air. I mean he did beat everyone he played against except Nocturnal, so even if it wasn’t the greatest play, most of you in here still wouldnt beat Wong in Garou MOTW and I side by that and I am sure Nocturnal and Giby feel EXACTLY the same way.
So its kinda weird seeing all these people talk smack about Wong in that tournament when they didn’t enter and if they did they didnt do better than he did! I saw the level of play at DEVASTATION in Garou MOTW, and it was clear Noc, Giby and Wong were a few cuts above everyone else so these people talking all this smack either need to stfu or step up and PRODUCE.
What have these people talking all this smack even done? Have they even won a Garou MOTW tournament? Ranked high? So what gives them the right to talk down on WONG of all people??? Some of these people need to take a LONGGGGGGGGGG look in the mirror before they talk down on anyone. How hypocritical is that???
Where I came from actions speak louder than words, if you are gonna talk all this smack talking down about a player you better be willing to step up and back it up in tournaments etc or you’ve lost ALL RESPECT from me.
