lol moms
Is it just me or did 50% of the Ryu Players switch to Seth and 50% of the ken players switch to Ryu, and the two Gen players switched to Juri…
Well I can tell you for sure, one Gief player switched to Blazblue
edit: and maybe marvel, not sure yet if I want to stick with it or not
Blazblue is not a fighting game
I know its not, never said it was
Someone needs a new host then. Just sayin’.
Damage is too high in MvC3 really? What exactly is harder in MvC2? To 100% a character? Not really, if anything it’s easier to hit people in MvC2 and get damage going. Iron Man infinite is easy as fuck and definitely easier than a lot of MvC3 combos, not to mention he can use guard break to 100% your whole team instead of 1 fucking character. Playing Magneto you might as well flip a coin if the person blocks the wrong way. Storm runaway is hard? MVC2 has fucking guard breaks that the opponent can’t do shit about. I don’t get it…
There are ass fighting games out there but this isn’t one of them. People just don’t like change.
I love MVC3.
I love MVC2.
The Xfactor is kinda crazy sometimes, but I can work with it. It’s not like the opponent just has Xfactor though. You do to as well.
Are we seriously gonna get into this debate really? lol
I’m not saying mvc3 is ass, hell the game is still more fun than any other fighting game being played competitively today but the damage factor is a little on the high side regardless of what you may think. As for the comparison to 2 that’s just lol i mean come on now? Yes ironman’s rejump infinite is easy as hell to do but let me ask you something? How many players that competed in marvel 2 were able to consistently land it on ppl and kill their whole team without fucking it up? there are only 5 well known ironman players in the marvel community who were beasts with him and only 2 of them almost NEVER messed up the infinite in the heat of battle and that’s illan, killa kelly, combo fiend, demon hyo and josh 360,with hyo and 360 being the most on point and consistent ironman’s in tourney play. Granted guard breaks and unblockables were a pain in the ass to deal with but again how many top players were consistent with it in tournaments? Not all of them landed them every chance they got but rather 85% percent of the time. mvc2 is full of bullshit i agree but at least that bullshit required more skill and execution to be consistent with it in the heat of battle. Even cable which i hate and think it’s a bullshit character but even with him you still needed 3+ levels to kill a character and runaway storm only gets you so far.
Point is it was a lot harder to learn to quote and quote kill a whole character and or team in 2 than in 3. I like 3 a lot don’t get me wrong and as i already stated earlier i’m glad they are trying to cater to a wider audience by making the game and combos more accessible but like i said they went a little too far with it and x-factor and overall high damage to me was unnecessary. It’s almost like the game doesn’t reward skill at all lol I mean what’s the fun in going in there and doing your thing and all of a sudden you get hit by something and just like that your life goes poof! it’s like WTF??? lol!! I can accept the game being scrub friendly sort of speak but the damage needs to be toned down overall period. That’s just how i feel.
Uh… yes you did.
See? tongue firmly in cheek
And concerning all the stuff that came out in MvC2 that’s supposedly so hard to do… when was that stuff even discovered, and how long did it take to get to that level? Years? People weren’t busting out Magneto’s ROM a month after the game came out, so expecting anything more out of MvC3 at this point is just absurd.
Here’s the real issue: people are pissed that they’re losing to me and gdbell. That’s really what is going on. Long-time Marvel gods all expected to still be gods the day the game released, just because they put in the hard work with the older game. The fundamentals carried over, but it’s still an even playing field. I’m going to ironically quote Sanford Kelly here (cause he’s acting like a little bitch when it comes to MvC3) and say “It’s Marvel… everybody’s gotta pay their dues.”
This makes me wonder how Eddie Lee felt when MvC2 came out, and some scrub kid named Justin Wong started kicking his ass.
I KNEW it… i knew they had boxes in a data center somewhere.
Honestly, it’s like trying to figure out if you would rather bite into a poop sandwich, or drink a vomit milkshake. Is that what you’re saying?
Damn I think I’m going to have to stop playing MvC3 online, this lag just pisses me off.
Again you are missing the point here. I’m complaining about the damage factor and not the whole the game is wayyy too easy oh now scrubs can beat so called marvel gods and stuff. But since you are taking it there then well why do you think scrubs have a much easier time beating more experienced players? because of high damage and x-factor that’s why because it sure as hell aint because of skill factor lol. Fact is months from now experience players will be to a point were scrubs wont be able to do much of shit in this game true but it still don’t change the fact that the damage factor in this game is bullshit overall. That is my complaint and that’s it,damage.
As for the whole mvc2 shit you just blurted out that was so retarded on your part cause first off the rom infinite was not easy to learn like you say and no not everyone was doing it months after the game came out. And infinites in mvc2 are not so simple that anyone can go in there and hook ppl in them till they are dead. Out of all the top marvel players that competed in tournaments for the past 10 years there has only been 3 ppl that were on point with mags infinite in the heat of battle and that was yipes, chris schmidt and demon hyo and that’s it! and even they fucked up from time to time. there’s a major difference between easily learning a combo and easily being able to land it in the heat of battle. As for you quoting my previous post were i said the game was ass that was a sarcastic post period and my way of random trolling lol. So to conclude this rant i don’t hate the game i like it a lot but the damage sometimes makes the game very discouraging to play.
and yes mvc2 and everything in it was bullshit but still hella fun.
Btw it was the japanese that figured out the rom infinite not us. mvc2 is way harder to be good at and beat experienced players than 3 is. I was playing skitz today online and we actually had a good connection go figure lol and the guy is clearly way better than i am i mean this guy was doing some raunchy shit with ammy, storm, sent lol and he was mostly beating me but i still got quite a few wins on him and a lot of them were bullshit all thanks to high damage. All i ask capcom is to please tone down the damage just a tad bit! that’s all lol i don’t want to quit the game but everytime i see my character die in seconds over the most basic shit it’s like ugh!
Glad that the “nigga moment” in Steak n Shake parking lot(Rell planned this all along) finally converted, er, persuaded you to recognize realness. Now you definitely see some of what Orel, Sev, and anyone else from other fgs who picked up Tek was talking about. But yea Alex/Ares moved to Cali, died and resurrected as a super dubstep dj. Cheap ass Bryan is all yours. This’ll get you started…
Here is a FT5 between the two most known Bryans. Knee from Korea, formerly thought to be world’s best Tekken player. And Mr. Naps from NorCal. Watch how they play and try to snatch some shit from both. You’ll understand more as you play more, obviously.

Also Cody uses Bryan so just hit him up for more homo tactics.
P.S. No matter how far you try to come up, you’ll always be my favorite stepson.
I just hate that MvC3 allows people to do completely random ass full screen supers and be safe. Hell IF they hit you they can XF and kill off your character. That bullshit gets on my nerves. Scrubs can throw random supers whenever and get lucky and win due to how safe they are.
I’m gonna paraphrase something Jim Sterling said earlier today…
It still gets a raised eyebrow from me when I see a well-known player – almost always an MvC2 one – declare that the state of fighting games is miserable and depressing. Maybe I’m too busy having fun to notice how “scrubby” and “cheap” things are but … wait, there is no but. I’m having fun.
I win.
Quoted for the fucking truth!!!
and Mike fuck both you and relle for snatching my ass over to the darkside lol!!
Yea i’ve been watching mr.naps that nigga sick! Good shit on the vids homie.
This isnt really true though. Its situational and in fact I would venture to say the game actually penalizes this. When a person does a super you have the entire “fancy start animation” to do your own. Example Hulks gamma crush is totally invulnerable on the way up. If you play Ruckus and try to chip hulk or “random super” him and he has meter your gonna get bodied. And its not even like its hard to tell when to input your own command you have like a damn year to do it. Many chars in the game have supers with invulnerability Zero’s level 3, Hulks Gamm Crush ect. Adding in your own X-factor to cancel a block sting and do your own thing. Random supers by a scrub should not really be an issue.
