GG’s boys. The lag between me and Chris was a little rough, but it happens. It was still fun games, other than like… Yang being in my face and I’m tearing tendons and ligaments in my elbow and wrist screaming " EX KARAKUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA… MAKOTO NOOOOOOOOO " trying to get the damn thing to come out, and then it does because you jump. Lame. Otherwise I was like, being dumb trying OS’s and stuff and other stuff I need to practice way more.
Also if you want to learn a character that plays like Vega… Uh, I would say don’t. Playing a shoto or input character really opened the doors to the game for me. Vega is kind of lacking in important stuff like frame traps, OS’s etc.
The only thing I would say without playing you any more is that if you land a back throw, you hold up forward and use mp in the air, it will safe jump pretty much everything in the game, I think guile can get around it and thats it. Maybe Yun. Another safejump set up is after a izuna drop, crouching strong, jump roundhouse. That’s pretty much it, other than never seeing you tech-rise, which isn’t necessarily bad, but I think it is good to tech rise in alot of situations. It was messing me up because I was always expecting it.
Me and Arson just talked about this but I’m thinking of making a TN 3rd strike youtube channel whenever the game comes out that we can all access and upload our videos to. Any thoughts on this?

It was fun though. Now that my month of solid Yang training is over it’s time to knock the dust off of Bison. I have so much muscle memory I find myself wanting to dive kick with him lol. If see me do like, instant j. mk with Bison, I’m still playing Yang and trying to dive kick, lol.
Also, for some reason I’ve had this urge to wanna pick Ken back up here recently. He’s who I started with when Vanilla first dropped, but I quickly switched to Bison. I guess I’d like to learn one shoto, and with all the talk about how good he is in this game, and him having a good match vs. the twins, he seems like the logical choice.
This is an awesome idea, I’m kind of new to 3s so it’d help me learn. I still don’t know how to parry right in that game, I mean not just timing-wise, but having the presence of mind to do it. I tend to either forget that guess-parrying is an option or just plain guess wrong all the time.
Maybe I should just drop Remy…
Yeah I main Bison also and I’ve been trying to learn Ryu, having a rough time though, I get blown up by mindless spammers online all the time when I can punish/bait that shit easily and consistently with my main. Think I’ll stick to him as my “business” character and work on a shoto for fun/possible counterpick.
