Anybody order SSFIVAE disc from capcom-unity? I got my disc yesterday with the bubble buds things. I was surprised since I opted for the cheapest shipping possible.
I got my copy yesterday. Yeah, I was stoked when I learned the original was included with the sequel. I had to sell a ton of my old gams last year to catch up on child support when I was unemployed. My original PC Alice CD-ROM was included.
On the plus side, I sold it for $40 and only paid $45 for Madness Returns!
Downside, too bad there’s no option for keyboard & mouse with the original… plays too clunky with a controller.

Well I couldn’t make it to Hastings (been kinda busy this week) but I still might go to MWC. I won’t compete if I do go outside of MM, I’m just not liking the current gen games enough to be competitive at a major. I can’t wait for Skullgirls and 3SO though, I’m getting that day fuckin 1.

We’ll be driving a Nissan Versa, and the trunk has a system in it, so space is INCREDIBLY limited.

About the 5v5. What format do you think will be the most acceptable? Standard, SBO style? (one match elim)? Round Robin (takes forever to finish)? 2 out of 3 Standard? 2 out of 3 sets?

Feeling pretty good about MWC. I’m playing pretty solid and maintaining composure. I just hope that keeps up come Saturday. Just gotta make sure I get plenty of sleep and all that good stuff.

As for format. I would think the teams choose an order. Then player A vs player A in a 2 out of 3 tourney style. Winner stays looser is out. Then the player that just won plays player B from the second team and so on till one team is done. Then we do the whole thing best of 3. If that has a name like standard or whatever cool just let me know. I’m new to the whole team thing.
Hey guys, for those that may not know Josh will not be coming to MWC after all. The severe tornado like storm we had Tues took down a 5 ft around 100 ft tall oak tree in my yard. It landed on my house and my truck. The truck is completely totaled. The back half of my truck is now a pancake. The roof on the side that got hit the hardest is all of the way down to the back seat. The auto insurance adjuster came yesterday and the first thing he said was wow that is bad! He then said I bet you have some suspension damage. My husband was like yeah ya think?? LOL! We have no power and probably won’t for awhile. I had to go stay at my Mom’s today and Josh and Stephanie are at her boyfriend’s house with his family. Just keep us in your thoughts or prayers (whatever you believe in). This is going to be a long process of cleanup and fixing things and replacing a 20,000 truck that I had 2/3 paid off (and we won’t even discuss the money put into it for repairs). Insurance will pay it off but we won’t have anything left to buy another vehicle. This has and continues to be a very difficult situation but at least I have a roof over my head that doesn’t have a tree on it, air conditioning, cable and internet. 
You all kick ass at MWC for Josh and play a game for him. Patrick pick Rufus in honor of Josh even in a casual. Hahaha!
Sorry to hear all of that. Huge limbs are always falling around our house, and my biggest fear during storms is just that. I’ll keep you all in my prayers.
