Mike will confirm today but it looks like its taking place next Sat at Mike’s house. Currently we have 3 members Me/O/Josh. Other eligible folk Squab/Johnny/Jas/Cylus/Abe. So if your interested practice up.
GG’s DRE, I got your number and will text it to the regulars so we will be sure to let you know when gatherings outside of Hastings occur. Having said that, welcome and GG’s man. It’s always good to meet new folks and I’m glad you felt welcomed. Expect a LOT of games over the next few weeks because once everyone hears we have a new player in the mix everyone wants to get their games in lol! We play each other so often that it’s refreshing to have a new player and character to get games in with.

Smash is random. At one point they were hitting 25 no matter what, then down to about 12-15. There hasn’t been one in awhile and I asked Milln to do one, but I know with out of towners coming I think there should be at LEAST 16 but your guess is as good as mine.
About Yun/Dhalsim…now I have played Jacob in this match and it is “winnable” but Dhalsim has to play perfect (spacing) and by no means can I win that match more. Heck, I would say Jacob has a 7-3, 8-2 edge when we play that match but the rounds are a lot closer than the overall score looks. The one thing that Dhalsim has in that match that I figured out a week ago is the Short Kick Air Drill. That shit is fast and hits Yun out of stuff to put the pressure BACK on him, but you can’t use it obsessively…
I mean, regardless of what everyone thinks of Yun, no one is going to just pick up Yun and rape like they think. If you have experience against it, you will be ok, but he does take time to learn (the matchups) and I seriously doubt we are going to see a pile of Yuns in top 10 on Saturday…
Ya, but this is his first time really playing people, I think. Trying to recall stuff in that setting isn’t the easiest thing, especially when you’re just learning the game and hitting Steve combos. Everyone pretty much saw the potential though, and even though Steve is really good, he isn’t particularly easy-mode to play.
Yea I think you should do a ranbat(take top 5 spots) or do FT3/FT5 to ultimately settle any discrepancies. And the 5v5 has to happen NEXT SATURDAY. I haven’t decided a time yet. I don’t mind doing it at my place at all, but if you guys come over, and other fools come over too, and you all decide that you got no elbow room and can’t move around freely, then it may be possible to evacuate down the street to Squab’s or Abe’s if it’s okay with one of them.

Re: Shadows of the Damned - Graham, when I saw you name drop God Hand I knew this game demanded my attention.
When I went to watch a trailer I remembered I saw this game some months back, saw the team on it (Suda 51 along with Shinji Mikami. Mikami was on the team that made God Hand when Clover (R.I.P.) was still at Capcom), and yeah, shit looks sick.
Will probably be purchasing.
