First.

Also, Duke Nukem Forever has atrocious load times.

So do I but I’m tied to family shit and it pisses me off to no extent…

So, is there gonna be a dedicated Tekken setup at fight night tonight?

I need marvel practice in preparation to mwc. woot/bishop get cho asses in gear tonight!

There actually might… MIGHT be a way I can make it to MWC. I can’t get my hopes up though!

No prob, but we have unfinished business 1st.

There will def be a tek set up tonight unless something happens and I cant go.

@ Eraser: Regarding not enough people for ranbats. Thats not really true. Just counting people who have made it in the last three weeks to Hastings that play
(Me, Lycan, Josh, Johnny, Jas, Bishop, Squabbler, Gene, Andrew, Mike, Rob, Tommy, Ernie, Abe, Cylus, Rukus) and I may have forgotten a few. Granted its not the 30 people we get for Marvel but its enough to run a bracket and we were running ranbats with numbers like that in SF at one point too.As for the 5v5 its not hastings people vs Lil Majin or Marcus. Yeah thats a slaughter with most people being new but the Minions are other mid level players. There is no reason it wont be competitive. Squabs getting personal training sessions from Bishop for his char Lycan and I are not bad and I have been working with Cylus too.

Lastly please dont do the 5v5 at Jas’ party. I def cannot be there since I will just be getting back from a business trip and I dont want to miss it.

I recorded me training in tekken enjoy

Harada and Murray say that there is no intention to release TTT2 in America arcades AT ALL… thus far. That’s up to the distributor, not them. But as of now, distributors say no. Jason pointed out that there is “always” an international version, but my conversation this weekend at CEO with Murray pretty much laid out the following… They don’t plan on releasing a truly Japanese or truly international version, just 1 version that plugs up anywhere there is some type of local Tekken server. The servers cost around $100k / year to place and maintain, and that’s not happening in America. So, unless Namco distributors change their minds (which they may, but Harada says they most likely won’t), don’t plan on playing TTT2 til console (2014).

I’m only playing marvel 3 from here until MWC so i can prepare for the tourney. Until then nothing else for me with the exception of mvc2. After that i can try and get into AE and resume tekken.

Too funny!

@Kodee - 2014?! So much for Tekken hype. How’s FL so far?

Any Cookevillains interested in playing tonight?

I have a hard time believing it will actually be 3 years before we get TTT2. SF4 Arcade and SF4 console was 6 months, and AE Arcade and AE DLC was 7 months. If TTT2 releases in arcades in Autumn 2011 like it’s projected, we shoulf be getting it by July next year max.

I don’t see why Namco would wait more than a year before console release. Even they know the arcade market is almost exclusively in Asia.

Well damn…TTT2 looks hype as shit too. May be for the best though with so many fighting games on the horizon. I just hope it doesn’t lose steam…

Is anyone entering the MK tourney at MWC? If not, I’m assuming everyone is entering the tournaments for Saturday and Sunday. I need a ride. I can go to MWC if you go sat and sun only.

I’ll have a 360 setup for Tekken but I’ll have AE and Marvel as well if we don’t have enough of those. Gotta practice for MWC. Give tips and advices on what to do and not to do, etc. especially if you play the twins.

I also notice this problem last wed. Many of the regulars including myself were playing like 25 games before getting up even when the place was getting packed and other people clearly wanted to play. Since we do have MWC coming up, people who are going should have top priority. Nonetheless, there should be a rotation going every 5-7 games.

Dimo: Just saw post. Congrats on all that shit. Your mentor turned gay and fled so it’s all up to you to singlehandedly resurrect scene in MidTN. You must summon the blackness of Nigga Nigga Ong Bak once more…

I’m not gonna be at MWC so i’ll see ya some other time. Good luck with the 2 man bracket though. You and Graham instant grand finals lol.

Damn them to hell. But can’t say I didn’t expect this. Namco is becoming as evil as Sega. I heard Americans were executed on sight in Osaka for touching VF5R cabs.

Umm…no. You know how long we waited for Tekken 6? Like since before Marcus, Dax, and Woot were born.

On the bright side, it gives you guys more time to learn T6. And time for TTT HD to have a bit of a run.

Clarksvillains and heroes! We’ve got us a fight night tonight at Play-N-Trade. Bring your bodies and your flowcharts babies.

Balance and the desire to have every bit of content available at console launch as possible. SF4 is on its 3rd console installment now and should not be compared. TTT2 will make 1 console installment, says Harada, and that’s it (just like Tekken6). Same w/the arcade due to the Tekken-net hookup for online balance updates that are automatically downloaded to the machine (not like MK). Also, Tekken 6 was the most heavily played fighting game almost every single month since its release until just recently in Japanese arcades. They’re going to cash in on that as much as possible without pulling anyone away from the arcades to play on console.

Tekken 6 took 2 years to make it from arcade to console. With all of the shit they want to include with things like customizations and new netcode in TTT2, I can see 3 years being a realistic number.

Tekken 5.0 had a super fast arcade -> console release, and that was a trash game on PS2 due to balance. They’re going to try to avoid that yet again, and that’s a good thing.

Agreed. I dont have any issue waiting for it. T6 is a great game and still worth playing for anyone interested in giving TTT2 a try. Especially if your not a Tek vet.
