If you click “Elective Mode” under the options you can put whatever skill wherever you want, fyi. You are not restricted to using skills from the “categories” they set up. D3 lets you put any skill with any rune in any slot you want at any time (with a cooldown period on that skill if you swap skills outside of town). That is 100x better than locking you into certain skill choices via pre-reqs and synergies and forcing you to reroll if you mess up the build process. A side effect of the new system is every skill stays good from the moment you get it until you quit playing that character, which is way better than putting a point in pre-req (or many for synergy) and never using it after level 4.
I dunno I love D2 but when the rose colored glasses are off it has real problems that D3 had to solve and the skill tree system was one of those big problems.
I think I’m going to play D2 until launch day. I wouldn’t have bought D3 but I got it for free so I can’t complain

Thanks for the bday wishes everyone. Weekend was fun! Sadly I won’t be at the barbie dolls tournament this coming weekend,gonna be a crazy week for me since we prepping for inventory next week. Dax don’t make plans for the tournament just yet homie u may be working this coming saturday lol
As for skullgirls i basically just stopped playing it altogether. It feels too much like a slower version of guilty gear with assists, not necessarily a good thing since i never liked gear that much at all so yea I got bored playing it and just stopped and went back to playing god of war lol!!
Looks like I’m pretty much done with competitive gaming for the most part, mostly because of work now. Too many responsibilities and hours of work so it’s really hard for me now more than ever to make time to dedicate to fg’s especially when there are other games i like to play so casual play is all i can afford right now. I’m trying to move up to store manager and get my own big lots to run so yea most of my focus is on that besides trying to get a new car and move out. I’ll still travel when able to and go to fight nights to chill with my peeps and still beat ppl in games i don’t even practice in lol
