Guile upsets me…his flash kick…makes me rage; not as bad as shoto players…but close enough.
@Eraser, i’ll try to see if we can get a carpool together.
If you cross up Guile he cannot flash kick you. The only thing he can do is wake up super and even then you’ll barely get hit. For a lot of characters, it’s just a matter of knocking him down once, then he’s forced to guess. Sonic boom/flash kick when you try to jump over is a classic trap, but is a bit harder to do than the fireball/uppercut trap because you need charge.
He can be frustrating to play against though, lol.
Uhhh - yeah he can, his flashkick is down charge -> up … it will MOST DEFINITELY auto correct.
Guile’s EX auto corrects better than regular and seems faster. O tags me with it as I try to cross him up all the time.

Props to Mick for taking Powerup and sticking with the young bitch post-patch. He says she’s better now because of the system changes, but y’all know how Mick like to spin shit lol. And I guess he really does understand that character better than most.
@ Maxninja: EWGFs are faster, safe, gives pushback on block, and more damaging than regular WGFs. You don’t need any “back pocket characters” in Tekken unless you just wanted to use someone else. I recommend that you stick to Asuka and learn her. But if she does get boring you should definitely try Anna. She’s a great female character who has every tool: safe mids, good lows, tons of launchers, parry/reversal, chain grabs, special throws, Cat stance (that auto reverses grabs and auto launches lows, among other things), quick unblockables, good wallcarry, nice oki, and sexy combos. She’s a pretty easy character to learn but also has the complexity and technical stuff later on. She’d be a cool complement if you ever got bored of Asuka.
P.S. Kaz’s EWGF is easier than others but you doing them on 360 pad is gross. You don’t want your left thumb when you get older I see.

No worries Mike, today was a bitch and half on my end as well. Hopefully tomorrow it settles down somewhat and we can get some games in. I’m ready to go 0-35 again. No lie. Though if I can make it 1-34 I’ll be happy to be making some progress.
Also Chris B., appreciate the heads up. That SSX DLC definitely looks better than I could’ve hoped for. Pricing is kind of eh…but for the amount of content, it’ll def breathe some life back into the game for people who dropped off (me included, shameful). I got gold medals on 2 runs one day last week and play a GE, but besides that I hadn’t touched the game in almost 3 weeks.

But I’m back playing Rell in sets every few days because I’m seriously getting my weight up and just trying to maintain solidity and endurance, so everyone should just expect ruthless style from now on. Pretty much done with the trolling and picking chara select screen in casuals. This is the only fg that I want to, and have time to, play on the competitive level, and have continued to do. I’ve squeezed the last bit of fun out of this series for me. It’s ALL business now. Saying it now so I don’t have to say it again. Anybody that doubts that, come holla at me. Fuck with ya boy. I love you guys, but I’m not playing this shit because I’m bored. And anybody trying to learn the game and get better, it’s gonna be a firm grip. But this is a good thing. And trying to break the cycle that’s been established and going on here for too long. Time for a new big dog. Past fucking due…

Guile’s Flash Kick is pretty crap in AE. If you are getting hit by it not in a combo, you are doing something horribly wrong. Every character has an air move that stuffs it clean, if you are being stupid and jumping.
Back charge is way more important than down charge.
Guile’s flash kick doesn’t auto correct very well. EX does a little better, but still not great.

Yeh ive messed around anna a bit. She’s fun but yeh im sticking with asuka cuz she’s just a blast to play as. But i do want to learn another character for TTT2. So ima still dabble a little with anna whenever i get bored of just training with Asuka
