I’m still hiding in the shadows in SC5. Mick’s play was good, but his opponents were letting him pressure too much with Leixia. They weren’t stepping enough, and they blocked far too many guard-breaking moves.
If I do make it to MBB, it’ll be fun playing some offline competition in SC5. They better practice the Astaroth and Algol matchups though. lol

@Max - 1+2 is my favorite punisher. That move, with sidestep/sidestep cancels is so good. It’s fast, stops alot of moves and it leads to a meaty combos. Oh and I figured you would like the technical characters more because i thought you would find Asuka boring and not much of a challenge, lol.
D-Wreck, do you live anywhere near the Cordova area? I ask because I need Tekken practice and I can only play on stick on 360 until I get my converter in. I know you have a modded stick and also play Tekken on stick.

Yeah i love that move. and it has deceptive range. And yeh i tend to go to the more technical characters because they’re fun and usually no one around here picks them (I.E. Tira, Viola). Buuuuuuut I am messing with Kazuya a little bit, not much since i need to just focus on asuka. But I’ve almost figured how to consistently do EGWF on 360 pad. I want to have a back pocket character so i wont ever have a Tira situation again. And have we ever played each other in a game?

I play some of everything and I play whatever, I just fighting games alot. We have played SC before, I play Natsu. As for any Viola players, I just know one and that’s Josh. He comes to fight night once every blue moon but you can’t miss him. Tall guy with a mean Afro (called Afro Samurai sometimes). The last time I saw him play with her, he was pretty good and that was pre-patch.

Well i have experience doing electrics on a pad. When i got tekken 4 when i was 13 i always wondered why Jin’s and Kazuya’s punch were electric sometimes. then i figured I had to do the inputs hella fast lol. But are the benefits of doing Electrics anyway?
And hopefully the other Viola player comes to a fight night when im there. I like to make reference points to players who use the same character.
And since ima be @ fight night this week I want to play me some Kang. I wanna play Justin first since it’s always fun playing him. Even with his bs liz counter of death that kills poor Kula every single time lol.
