Oh boy, alright well let’s go through this point by point.
I have never seen gabe play, I can only assume his skill level therefore I do not care if it “means anything”, besides, it is a MONEY match, not a pride match. Furthermore, I have not seen people lining up to money match him, I offered because I saw that he had money matched somebody recently, and I wanted to play him, simple as that.
I have $20 more than I did before.
That was never my, or anybody else’s intention (as far as I know), the primary reason for money matching is to play a match with something on the line, it helps prepare people mentally for a tournament environment and it is simply more fun than casual play.
Nobody here is saying otherwise, I have never met gabe or spoken with him in person, any assumptions made toward his character is speculation and unfair on my part, hence why I do not make them.
I assume you mean on my facebook, and yeah, people get excited over money matches, especially in this case because Gabe is notorious for trolling the forums, people dislike that and thus I see support (support that I did not ask for), but it definitely makes for a more interesting match.
No, this is not how that works, in order for him to win, he needs to actually win, not to mention you guys really exaggerate how the nashville guys think of Gabe, I don’t think anybody in nashville thinks poorly of gabe, it is unfair to do that without meeting him first.

I am 5/5 in money matches. Won two ft5’s in 3S, won two ft5’s in Marvel, and won a small ft3 in SC5. Since no one hardly plays my games, I’m going to start being one of those pricks who says “We can money match, no casuals.”
