re Magneto: If they get too close to the ground after an airdash loop, you can smack them with st.c xx Hyper Grav. , relaunch, etc.
With OTG assist, you can get a Hyper Grav. off OTG -> relaunch as well. Also nets you his QCB super.
Is anyone hosting this weekend? Because if not, I’m thinking about it… Got to check on a few things and make sure first tho…

So I finally got my magneto set ups down to an art thanks to the heavy training i did last nite. Thank you capcom for not fucking up my favorite marvel character of all time.The tourney here in memphis is gonna be super hype and i can’t wait to see how much everyone improves from here till then. Also Squabb please try to host this weekend if possible cause i’m itching to play ppl more regularly(can’t get online yet unfortunately :sad:) and Eraser i will be more than happy to show you the ropes next time i see you.
One last thing for those from nashville who is coming to the tourney how would you guys like to run a friendly 3v3 or 5v5 in mvc3 vs memphis? No money on the line or nothing like that just for fun really.

GGs to Flymike and Shinblade last night. Glad to see them playing Marvel (for the time being at least! lol)
So my team of Arthur, Sent, and Trish is netting me a lot of wins, however I find it hard to build meter with a keep away team no matter how many projectiles I have on screen. Just gotta find a way to build that meter.
And I hope someone host this weekend so I can try my team out on some real comp!

Okay I’m asking this in absolute seriousness --why is it that whenever I watch a MvC 2 or 3 video blocking doesn’t seem to be a huge priority (EDIT: and I don’t mean these two playing – I mean every video I watch). It seems like every attack lands and/or launches an opponent. Is it that hard to block attacks (they seem to come from every angle) or is it that playing offensively is the only way to play?
You’re asking the wrong person. Jas doesn’t block. His name is “godlike-rushdown”, not “godlike-defense”. 
And you absolutely need to block and pushblock. Face a good Zero and you’ll see why. I need to get better at it myself. So much better.
Quoted for the fucking truth! lol!! You need strong defense in marvel or else you gonna get beat bad. But the way i operate is i break the game down and learn the mechanics/characters/what i can get around,punish,block,etc then i get my characters and team to the point where whenever i land something i mount an offense so strong that i don’t need to be on the defensive as much and when ppl are throwing shit at me to get me off i react to it and just get around it with out the need to sit back and block so much. Needless to say that does not mean i never block or know how to lol it’s just that marvel is mostly about execution/reaction and reflexes more than anything else. But seriously dude learn the game and get into it because it is hella fun and a far cry from the overwhelming beast that marvel 2 was.

Lol Cylus i have to admit tron surprised the hell out of me i had no idea she could do all that but after completing all her trials last night i realize ohhh ok so that’s what he was doing lol! But yea i got more mix ups and high damage combos with magneto that is sure to be effective and scary in battle so now i’m spending time in the lab with dante cause there is still much to that character i have yet to learn.
