If discussion boards were relegated to people only talking about things they have any control over the internet would be a ghostown. Did she deserve 100 million? Not in my opinion. Does she deserve to continue to get paychecks from Tiger meanwhile she doesn’t do anything to actually support herself? Not in my opinion. But thats the way the divorse courts ruled (not like she couldn’t survive or maintain the style of life she was living with a measely 10 million dollar settlement). To see a woman spend someone elses money like its nothing is a slap in the face of marriage, and men in general (but thats typically what happens with women get married anyway. Take everything the guy makes and leave him with bread crumbs). Shes a gold digger, and that offends me. I hope some poor guy marries her and then divorses her so he can take her millions.
Thats different because Tiger actually makes a lot of money. He continues to make a lot of money. He’ll spend 40 million and make it back through golf and endorsements in a few years. Elin doesn’t make any money (outside of what she screwed tiger out of). so the more she spends the less she has as she can’t remake that kind of money.

With a significant bit of these athletes (except Tiger and who knows), I bet their wives were actually holding them down when they didn’t have any money. So, forcing her to sign a “I’m not a money grubbing whore” (that’s the connotation) contract seems wrong. But times and people change, and a woman gets a lot out of a divorce whether she was in the right or not.
