Teleport’s not too bad , just TU that shit on reaction. If they do the old shake and bake with the EX FB I usually just neutral jump mk.

I was getting man handled by a Sim online named N DRU or something along those lines. Very good sim, made me realize that your Kara game has to be on point. Make your damage count, every time you knock Sim down full screen with an ex.tu, or air juggled or TU on a loose limb ALWAYS TK forward, stay as close to sim as possible. Also Option select U2 in this match-up is godly.
Neutral jump mk beats a lot of Sim’s ground normals that try to pick you up out of the air.

Yo, I sound dumb saying this, but can anyone post up some strats about Hakan? I played someone online who knew what they were doing, and I did not and got BODIED. No idea how to approach him, especially oiled up. Obviously waaaaay different than the other grapplers, and after infil’s styling on hugo101 and fchamp we might see some more in the tourney setting…
In my opinion this match is all about spacing, stay outside his jumping grab (Oil Dive) range, at this distance is really easy to anti-air him due his slow jump. Stay alert on the Oil slide and as soon as you see it, use neutral jump to make it wiff and punish, or just block it, is really unsafe but he can fadc and that’s why i prefer the neutral jump option. Always end your combos in TK’s or EX TS’s to keep him far and speaking of TK’s and EX TS’s be prepared to react to focus, every Hakan loves his focus.

ha nope its great! Is the slide safe if properly spaced? safer if oiled up? oiled up slide is insane, its practically a friggin teleporting hit box. I felt like I tried cr. lp xx tu punish on blocked slide but I couldn’t get it to hit.
Is the slide safe if properly spaced? - Yes, that’s another reason to use neutral jump.
Safer if oiled up? - No, just faster and it reaches farther.
And another thing, it’s armor breaking, making focus in this match pretty hard to use

I dont know this matchup as well as I should since kokobanannaman lives in my area. Anyways at a basic level keep him out when oiled rush his shit when he isnt. When he does have oil dont put pressure on him because he can focus cancel into his crlk. You never wanna let him put you in blockstun with focus when he is oiled up. Always have an armor breaker ready at mid range. Hakans love that focus. If he is doing random run grab out side of your wake up juts crouch it. If he is doing it on wake up and grabbing your stand frames…just dp it or mash cr lp like against cammy’s hooligan setups. When he has meter be ready for an ex slide and dont throw many tiger shots…also watch at mid range for his shoulder move into a tick command grab and be care standng because he can do that stupid sweep move from hella far away. If that fucker jumps dp his shit…has to be the easiest character to anti air…if you hit him with ex tu in either a combo or anti or whatever…you can combo into ultra…there is probably more i could say but im tired and just got home from the gym. hope that helps.

Anyone got any Guy tips? NO freaking clue how to fight him, dude has a million tough angles to counter, which area all super fast. I shot hight and get slided. I pull back get air jump thrown/elbow dropped. I try and TU he elbow drops short and i get wiff punished.
WTF is sagat supposed to do? I know run slide is punishable, do i just gotta play it safe, wait for a sloppy slide, knockdown and try and make him pay? with good buttons and good ways to get in, seems like TS’s are not the way to go,

akuma vs sagat is not 5/5 akuma whips up on sagats ass <br>same thing with viper she beats up on sagat <br>i’m not a sagat main or anything just wanted to use him as my secondary character but i think he beats up on characters that aren’t top tier he struggles against cammy viper akuma ibuki (imo he beats seth) he has 50/50’s against ryu’s guiles & kens well to me anyway<br>

viper can have a hard time dealing with zoning and this isnt vanilla akuma remember that<br>
1 - you shouldn’t loose to an oni, his fireball game is poor and lacking. The only thing hes got going is that he can bait your anti air with the air dash.<br> After you learn all the gimmicks of oni you should be able to beat him cleanly even up close.<br><br>2- I dont think he has a tough time vs cammy. Yes she is godlike efficient at close to medium range, but remember that standing means punishing dive kicks.<br>
