Just looked at this again and I have to disagree with where sagat and ryu are in reference to akuma. Akuma has a lot more going for him then ryu and sagat especially. Sagat’s supers are hard to verify and combo into. His supers arent that safe and dont do enough damage. He also has a lot of lag on his pokes and his high/low tiger cannons blow
Pokes? What pokes? This isn’t CvS2.
You play Sagat in this game like you would CE Sagat…his Tiger Shots are nearly as fast and lagless as O. Sagat, and Tiger Uppercut does great damage and is invincible with obscene range. Tiger Knee has minimal recovery, too.
I disagree about his supers. The Tiger Cannons are great in this game. High Tiger Cannons is an anti-air punisher. The fact that the Tiger Cannons stay in place a split second before ZOOMING helps prevent people from poking you out of it. Tiger Raid is sick in this game…almost an instant low into big damage…you can also confirm it from a standing or crouching B.
If you try to combo with Sagat and play him like the game is CvS2, then yeah he loses. But sticking to a simple strategy is what makes Sagat effective.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Fighting Edition All Character Combo Exhibition by Arcade-Extreme
Hell no this thread isn’t going out like that.
The song for the Power Rangers one was hilarious.
Anyone bother playing Bloody Roar 4 long enough to break it?
4 tiers are pretty similar to 3’s…the new character tiering is something like:
god: ryuho the dragon, ryuho and mana ( STOOPID mixup with loli-tripping ftw ), Reiji ( goddamn Reiji and his MVC2 air combos that start off of anything…Steve Fox + Magneto = Reiji )
Nagi the Spurious is mid. She has really good normals and gets insane priority with meter but much like Yugo she’s super predictable, only she doesn’t have Yugo’s crazy rushdown so she’s beneath him a tad ( and has trouble with him, for that matter ).
man, i’m trying to tier off Justice League Task Force…so far the best characters seem to be Flash and Cheetah, with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman coming next…Green Arrow kind of sucks, he’d be god tier easily if his arrows were a lot faster ( like Mina, for example ) because he can shoot them damn near anywhere but they all have HUEG startup and leave you vulnerable, not good against rushdown oriented Flash / Cheetah. haven’t tried Darkseid, Despero or Aquaman yet…
Which version are you talking about. In the genesis version Superman and despero are broken tier. Superman has 3 infinites and despero has his unblockable. I remember the SNES version of the game looking 100x better, but IIRC you couldn’t do combos in it. It’s been a loooong time since i’ve played it so i’m not really sure.
Jenny is just as bad since she can air combo you too.
Pretty much aside from The Dragon, Reiji & Jenny were top over everyone else
simply for the fact that they could air combo you to death, and BR has a shit
air recovery/counter attack.
what about Rumble roses XX ? does it even have tiers?
V.R. Fighter vs. Taken 2
Use Jun’s :r: + :k: and your opponent is never leaving the floor.
Akira’s standard kick pretty much stops everything.
Everyone else is garbage.
The bigger the hueg bubz, the stronger. :lovin:
Remember to apply the same rules to DOA.
In that case, DoA 4’s Christie’s stripper costume is god tier. :wgrin:
Why is Nagi mid? She has solid juggles and great damge. And can combo off her command throw, which makes for beastly mindgames. Do a combo that you can cancel into a guard attack, cancel that then command throw, then free juggle that costs you a whole lifebar and then some. She has good pokes and great rushdown. Very safe too. Yugo I would say was god tier in BR3, but they toned k ihim down. In BR4 he is definately still up there though. High tier I would say.
Nagi’s high low game is greatly enhanced in beast form. And in BR4 it’s waaaaaaaaaaaay too easy to stay in beast form. Plus there is no reason to stay human at all really. also Nagi has much greater range in beast form. Also she has mix-ups from her command run too. Pshhh. No way Nagi isn’t God tier with Reiji.
This is my psychic force tier list IMO: I copied and pasted this part from another thread.
Top- Wong, Emilio (Both are tied for the rank of number one)
Lower Top- Burn, Kieth
High- Setsuna, Patty
Middle- Might, Gudeath, Carlos, Genshin, Regina
Low- Wendy
Bottom- Gates
Ok let me explain my tier placings a little bit. Wong is just a monster. To be blunt, he’s just a flat out cheater. He has incredible defensive capabilites along with awesome mindgame potential. To sum up Wong in a sentence. Teleporting is gay. He can combo his golden sword straight into another one if the first caused a wall bounce then do the second part of the move where he calles all the smaller swords to impale his opponent. Yes the combo is plausible in a real match. It’s all about mindgames with Wong and he can pull it off. If a Wong player nails this combo it can take nearly half your life bar.
His long range strong attack is another great mindgame tool. Throw it in another direction then cause it to reappear behind your opponent. A very nice trick. You can’t spam it, but it will keep them guessing. His split image teleport is great when you want to dodge techniques, but not suffer from barrier hit stun. He can also buffer his psychic attacks from his teleports, so its possible to throw out a golden sword almost immediately after you teleport.
He also has a teleport that he can do after he gets knocked back. He can do this from anything. Even a throw! So you could throw him, he telpeorts instead of doing a retreat barrier and then he combos you. Or he could just mindgame you and and dash away. When you try to rush him or dash away he sticks a golden sword down your throat. By the way, that sword does great damge and has fairly quick start up time. I’m pretty sure it’s safe on block too, meaning if your opponent uses a barrier to defend themselves they can’t retaliate fast enough because Wong can just defend himself or push his attack. By the way. HE CAN FREEZE TIME!!! So if you only have a little bit of health left he just hyper chrage then time freeze. Then you can kiss your ass good bye when he grabs you. So you are forced to stay on him, which plays right into his hands. Honestly, Wong is god in this game, and I was quite shocked to see that he asn’t top tier on your list oldboy. Here is a link to a strategy guide with info on Wong’s moves and his overall statistics, as well as the other characters. The info is accurate and helps illustrate my point. Here is the link:

As you can see by looking at that faq Wong has many moves that begin execution under half a second, which is pretty much the cut off for fast moves in this game. Under 30 fps is good but go over it and that’s when you notice an increase in execution time of moves. One of the reasons why Wong is such a beast. His time control moves have considerable start up times, but when you consider the effects it’s well worth it.
lol, im suprised anyone else has ever played this hack.
