Tiers for non-fighting games?

Have you played him in Ultimate Alliance? The current SRK Ultimate Alliance tier list places him at fifth overall.
Silver Surfer > Iron Man > Deadpool > Moon Knight > Cyclops

Nope, I haven’t played Ultimate Alliance at all. I just know he’s really weak in XML2.

So he goes from upper-mid, to bottom, to top.

Yeah, he’s really stupid in Ultimate Alliance.

I demand better Gambit placement in future Marvel games.

Gambit is feces.

Gambit is the coolest character in the MU. Although he doesn’t quite stand up against a few of DCU’s characters.

Gambit is a fucking joke. You’re probably just hot for him.
Protip: I’ve been to New Orleans. People like him don’t exist.

Ultimate Alliance tier list without invisible woman? Epic fail…

Her damage output is poor and her damage intake is even worse. Sure, she can stun someone, but you have to buff her through the roof for that to even matter. Play Hawkeye.
In other news, the term ā€œepic failā€ is about as cool as parachute pants and 4chan.

Let me post this tier list yet again for those who’re too lazy to click the search button.

D Tier

I expected Mr.Fantastic to be higher. I agree with most of your list but Mr. Fantastic just has that nasty ass critical working for him. I thought he would be higher than the likes of Luke Cage and Ms. Marvel since you can clear a whole room in a few stomps even on hard.

The characters aren’t in any order within any tier but S. I have never played as Mr. Fantastic, but there’s actually a Marvel: Ultimate Alliance thread in the premium forums and it’s full to bursting with experts.
The reason Ms. Marvel is good is because she can more or less kill any non-boss enemy in the game with one use of Prism, and that damage goes to the nearest three enemies. In less than a second, that’s four enemies dead. Combine that with another energy character(Iron Man, Cyclops, or both) and you have an unstoppable force of lazer beams.
Luke Cage is one of the best melee characters in the game because his strikes are quick and he can juggle several enemies at once, thus freeing up space for other characters to clean house…usually Cyclops since his crowd control is better than anyone else’s.
Truth be told, I just put Reed so low on the A-tier because I FUCKING HATE HIM.

Darkness powers tier list for The Darkness

God Tier - Darkness Shield
Top Tier - Creeping Dark, Black Hole
High Tier- Gunner Darkling, Light Killer Darkling
Mid Tier - Kamikaze Darkling, Berserker Darkling, Demon Arm
Low Tier - Ancient Weapons

Darkness Shield - Pretty straight forward. Absorbs all damage done to you as long as you have Darkness energy. Not reduced. Completely negates. Too good. For every hit you take you lose a bnit of Darkness energy though. But that’s not big deal since darkness power is easy to replenish. This power turns Jackie into a tank at the highest Darkness level.

Creeping Dark - Really useful throughout the game. Can be used for stealth kills and scouting out areas. You can also grab items and weapons while in this mode and even devour hearts. This is great because while you are in this mode your Darkness energy decreases so devouring hearts replenishes your energy and lets you stay in this mode longer. This power is really great when you are hiding behind some cover and you want to attack your enemies while remaining hidden and you don’t want to waste ammo. It’s also great when you have Darklings supporting you.

Black Hole - Rapes everything in the vicinity of the hole pulling it in and blowing it away. This would have been God tier but it depletes all of your Darkness energy so you have to use it wisely. It cant be spammed. Still, this power is incredibly strong and if you have Darklings for back up you can wreak havoc with it without being overly concerned about losing all your energy.

Gunner Darkling - Probably the best Darkling. She can shoot enemies from far away and gives good long range support. Her bullets are pretty strong and can even pierce the shields that the Swat teams use. Her only weakness is that she is kinda slow and her A.I sometimes screws up and she ends up trying to shoot enemies while behind a wall or something like that. But she is still great for laying down cover fire or giving you back up in a firefight.

LightKiller Darkling - Pretty much an upgraded Berserker. This little guy can take out lights which saves you bullets and time. If there are enemies in the area he will go after them and then continue taking out lights in the area when the enemies have been cleared out. Very useful.

Kamikaze Darkling - Useful in certain situations. He’s fast and he can take out alot of enemies with his explosives if they are gathered in close vicinity. His main weakness is that he can be shot before he gets close and then his summoning goes to waste. You CAN choose to shoot him one he gets in range of your enemies so you can detonate him when you think it’s time to do so which is pretty cool. But since he needs to get close he will often be blown up before he gets the chance to do so to your enemies.

Berserker Darkling - He’s ok. Fast and can do an instant kill on enemies. Pretty durable too. But he is very standard. He just opens some doors for you and helps take down enemies or distract them. Nothing beyond that really. If nothing else, he is decent back up if you lay down cover fire or having other Darklings with you.

Demon Arm - You can do some cool stuff with this. Pick up objects like cars and use them as shields and then throw them at people. It’s also an instant kill on anyone that gets hit by this power. But you have to be close to get the most use out of it and you don’t want to be running up on your enemies if you can avoid it. It’s main use is for taking out lights so you can conserve ammo. So as far as utility goes it’s extremely useful, but you may find that you don’t use it all that much in actual fights.

Ancient Weapons - They aren’t terrible. Just not extremely useful overall. You can use them to take out lights at longer range which is nice. And it’s good in the nightmare world since they can take down zombies for good. But what hurts it is that using the weapons drains your Darkness Energy quite fast. So in the middle of a firefight you will be losing energy not only because of your Darkness shield absorbing hits, but also because of the Ancient Weapons. This means Jackies durability is reduced. In a firefight you want your power to go to your shields. Using these weapons makes things a bit tougher for you. And they aren’t incredibly powerful either. The rapid fire shots are weak. Usually taking around 2 or 3 head shots to kill someone. The blast shot is strong but takes quite a bit of energy. It looks like it should have a decent blast radius on the attack but it’s actually kinda small and more of a visual effect. This is the only power that you probably won’t be using that much.

Bionic Commando (new one) Weapon Tiers:
Top:
Bionic Arm - No surprise here. This thing gives you very fast mobility and allows you to reach pretty much anywhere. It provides great crowd control and a lot of utility. And best of all there’s no limit on ammunition. Only the Whip Spin requires energy to use, and killing a measly 5 soldiers recharges that attack.
Tarantula - Lock-on guided rockets are your friend. This thing easily takes down Biomechs, Polycrafts, and just one rocket can destroy an entire mob of soldiers. If only it came with more than 6 rockets at a time.

High:
Bulldog - This is a grenade pistol. It’s powerful, sports a large blast radius, has fair accuracy even at long range, and is still pretty effective against the armored vehicles.
Hand Grenades - The regular hand grenades may not sport the range or blast radius of the Bulldog, but they are a lot more plentiful, have proximity detonation, and are less wasteful to use on mobs of soldiers.
SJMG - At first I hated this machine gun due to its piss-poor accuracy. Then I found out how quickly it can mow down a Polycraft and started using it more. Despite the poor accuracy, it can still take down large groups of soldiers or Drones quickly. It can even be used against Biomechs when you get a clean shot at their backside, just keep shooting while you perform a zip-kick on their exhaust plate.

Mid:
Prototype Weapon - As best as I could tell, this was basically the Tungsten, just modeled to look like a pistol instead of an SMG. It possibly seemed to do slightly more damage too.
Tungsten - While somewhat inaccurate and not all that powerful compared to the other weapons, the Tungsten can still prove pretty reliable against regular soldiers. It also helps that ammunition is plentiful and you can carry a lot at once.

Low:
Hiker - This is basically the shotgun of the game. Though it does sport surprising range for a shotgun, it’s spread seems much more concentrated than typical. While it can take down soldiers fairly effectively, so can anything listed above it. What really hurts the Hiker is the fact that it only comes with 8 shots per pickup and has effectively no value against Biomechs.
Yelena - It’s a typical sniper rifle. Does quite a bit of damage per shot, highly accurate at even long range, and scoped for easier distance aiming. The problem is that it doesn’t pierce or have AOE and only comes with 8 bullets per pickup. That means each one you grab is going to kill 8 enemies at best. Also, like the Hiker, it has no value versus Biomechs or even Polycraft and is strictly a soldier-killer, which again everything listed above it can do too. I also wish the scope zoomed further, personally.

EDIT: Did some testing and Prototype Weapon is identical Tungsten except that it seems to do about 1.5x the damage of the fully-upgraded Tungsten. Realistically they are still of about equal value since they both occupy your pistol slot, are the only two weapons that can go there, and are really only effective against infantry and either only even holds much use because of the large supply of plentiful ammo.

He’s near top in XML2. Does that count?

Link’s Awakening (iDX) Weapon Tiers

Top

LV2. Sword
Boomerang
Exploding Arrow Trick

Upper Mid

Arrows
Hook Shot
Bombs

Mid

LV1. Sword

Low

Magical Flame Rod
Magic Powder

Boomerang was pretty awesome in that game. Could even kill the final form of the final boss in one hit. It was also fun throwing it, then picking up the flying rooster. The boomerang would follow you around beneath you as you flew around, damaging everything you flew over.

I’m gonna try to tier Warhawk (PS3) troop weapons, but the weapons are pretty damn balanced. There isn’t one useless or overpowered weapon–each one has a purpose.

S

Grenade: this weapon is very nice against both troops and vehicles. Best of all, it’s always equipped so you can easily alternate between grenades and your primary weapon.

Rifle: this is the all-purpose weapon. Useful in a variety of situations, and it’s good against both troops and some vehicles.

A

Mine: mines are awesome if you want easy kills. Vehicles are always going to be used, especially jeeps, and mines kill jeeps dead, and everyone in them. Because jeeps are so fast, by the time the driver spots the mine, it’s already too late.

Rockets: good for their homing ability vs. Warhawks. Good against tanks too, but you gotta stay out of sight so the tank doesn’t find you. Basically, take a shot then hide. People try to use this weapon against troops, but you have much better options IMO (like grenades).

Sniper Rifle: very powerful, but hard to use. If you get good with this, you will be feared. Don’t stick around in one place for too long.

Flamethrower: the ultimate vehicle/troop/mine killer. I never tried it, but the thought of using this combined with the jetpack sounds like a lot of fun. I could go around screaming ā€œTHE FURY!!!ā€

Wrench: works like the Knife, except it can heal your vehicles and destroy the enemies’ own stuff. Put a guy with a wrench in the tank for good results.

B

Pistol: in these types of games, the starting weapon is usually crappy, but not the pistol. Sure, you aren’t going to use this weapon over any other pick-ups, but you can’t argue with increased damage at close range, fast reload time, and infinite ammo. Great for destroying mines when you don’t have the flamethrower.

Knife: the other weapon that won’t see much use, but still useful in some situations. It won’t give away your position on the map, which is very handy.

Binoculars: you only get two shots, so you have to make them count. Plus, you gotta wait a few seconds before the airstrike reaches its destination. The green targeting laser and buzzing sound totally gives you away, and if you go inside a building, you’re completely safe from the bombs. Basically, you have to be crafty if you want this weapon to work for you. Works best in places where you know there will be a lot of fighting, like the base in the centre of the Badlands map.

C

BFG: It makes you harder to kill, but it won’t prevent one-hit kills. You could use it to slow down enemy troops from capturing a zone, but if they approach your zone in a tank, then the BFG is useless. Probably best used to heal yourself when a health pick-up isn’t close by, but there’s no point sticking around once you’re healed.

Yeah that’s the only thing stopping it from becoming godlike/broken tier, since the rooster not only came late but was used only in specific situations. Other than that though the Boomerang was a fine trade over something like say the shovel (by that time of the game, if you got the LV2 Sword you really would have no use for it).

It’s nice if you say what game you are talking about…
