Best Bout Gaming is going to be open Friday nights now as well. This night will be more social oriented, a bit of everything including games, music, movies (projected) chillin’. Also will be streaming various matches and getting practice in for the Salty Runback tournament in Seattle on Saturday evening. We open at 7pm, come get some games in, check out the neighborhood (and bars if applicable), lounge, kick it, what ya like. See you there!

wait a min, what are your guy’s schedule? I remember Ethan telling me BB might do a Friday thing but I had no idea this was going on, now I’m extra salty. so what days are you open?
Edit: ok so I read back and saw that I missed your post talking about Friday, but I still wouldnt mind hearing a run down of what days you guys are open, and for what games, etc.
We are going to be open every day/night in the not too distant future. Right now it is;
Tuesdays: Throwdown Tuesday (fighting games). Training atmosphere
Fridays: X Factor Friday (anything really, still heavily fighting games, but with Nintendo, FPS, Smash, retro games). More party atmosphere.
Saturdays: Held for tournaments
We are going to be opening a Nintendo games night soon, which will include competitive games such as Smash, Mario Kart, as well as retro games (Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country and such) and party games such as New Super Mario Bros.
Aside from that, an Amine night is probably on the way, first person shooters night, sports games night, maybe a Rock Band night. That pretty much covers all of our evenings. That doesn’t even dive into LAN parties, which the layout of our place right now pretty much screams.
Anyway, it’s shaping up pretty quick. We’ve been described as a social club, gamer’s lounge, and asked a few times if we were a bar. Right now it is more balancing what the schedule is going to be than anything else, we have a lot of areas to expand to. On the fighting game side of things, we are seeing a lot of new people, some solid players as well. Looking for more of that for sure.
Sweet, thanks for the quick reply. I dunno if I can make it twice a week every week(ha) but I’m going to try to not miss many. a friend of mine is visiting Portland for a couple of days this week, maybe i can convince him to come with me. He’s not super competitive but i think he could still have fun.

Yup it’s Tuesday again, we be opening at 6pm. I was walking up to the spot today when way off in the distance I hear some peeps yell “BEST BOUT GAMING!” super loud. Couldn’t figure out where it came from, turns out it was some friends down the block supporting the cause. Seems to be the battle cry these days, see you all tonight ; )

Yeah, I was caught up working on my house during the first half, but was around for the second shift. Sorry we didn’t get any games in tonight Kurt. gg’s Sam C, Simon, Eggroll (stepping it up for sure, it was that crack session ; ) and BB fucking H. Those last games were a lot of fun. Welcome back Yared as well. We finally closed up around 4am.
