I’m probably going to be up there all the time. An hour away is nothing after living in Atlanta where an hour away is still the city. I’m probably going to be driving up tomorrow. still not 100% sure where I’m gonna stay. I found a decent priced apartment right near where I’m gonna be working though.
Right now the only thing I play is marvel 3 and maybe MKDC. I’m a former tekken player but haven’t touched it on a competitive level since tag with a brief stint online in DR. Definately don’t play marvel 2 at all but love marvel 1 and 3. Not much into ssf 4 but i’ll play it with other people if I’m bored.

Ya I played 3s a bit but only played chun and mostly just threw people and supered if they messed up much like most chun’s. when I played the only one who could beat me in PDX was ray and we traded. Sort of disapointing because I didn’t play it enough to be beating people up on it. I suck now I’m sure but I’d mess with it.

hope you enjoy it, i would have thrown in my 2 cents about why to move to Portland but i figured id leave it up to people who had been here longer then myself. Tuesdays are hype, and im sure you could get some games going any day if you ask enough people and have an idea of where to play. also last wednesdays at GK right?
I’m back. In pdx as of yesterday and already bored. Probably going to be staying in Salem and deciding if I like the job enough to stay here. I may come out for a bit on tuesday for some marvel. Depends if I have an apartment set up or not.

I think the main purpose is to have more people getting a split of the pot as the number or players are involved.

hey, i moved to portland about 2 weeks ago and I’ll be there tomorrow. Do I need to bring my own stick? $5 entrance fee still? What do I need to know?
