This reminds me of the time in college that one of my friends wanted to
be all up in this broad. He wrote her the shittiest, most emo poem ever and we all told him that, but he didn’t listen and gave it to her anyways. She read it in front of him and laughed in his face and then a few months later, she decided that she would come out of the closet and become a lesbian.
That guy still got owned less than Emblem did.
I’ll be up front about this one. I was the first victim of this shit but most of it stayed off srk until some peeps in the premium lounge gave me the 411 on what was going on. It only lasted maybe a week or two. Somewhere around there.
Most the drama and fall out from my experiences with “her” was self contained in premium and in PM’s between the few people who figured out what was going on. I did get my shit pushed in for it, though. Most of it was friendly ribbing and “you should know better” type things though.
EmblemLord is the person you’re thinking of. Dude was in some heavy denial about the whole thing. He stood his ground and dug his heels deeper and deeper each time someone was posting proof about it being bullshit and cat fishing.
People were posting his blog posts about “her”, hacking into his messenger conversations with “her/“about “her” as well as his SRK PM Box and was posting them. Shit was absolutely fucking wild.
He wrote some absolutely insane posts about her and the whole situation while they were “together”, upon discovery of the cat fishing and the fall out of everyone putting him on blast.
I think he tried to stick around after that but no one would let up so he just stopped posting
All of us regulars in the premium section had a game where we neg rep people on here but in the comment as to why we’d always sign the comment as someone who had premium as well but we didn’t like. The person we signed the comment as would then ended up getting flooded with hate mail. It never stopped being funny to us.
Valaris, Guru, Infested Jester, Cryoh , Grog and myself did this a tooooooon to Lobelia Prime, Luigi Bo, LBC Kid and a few others.
