The one AV I’ll always remember is Muff’s. He had a fucking gigantic Gin Ichimaru from bleach avatar.
He never revealed how he got it but word was he did a bunch of favors for Wiz and the Cannons when the forum was first getting off the ground. Something about helping manage server traffic and back door server programming, I think.

Yes Avs another thing SRK was second to none there were some hilarious ones like jae hoon athletes foot or the hentai ass avs that eventually got banned it even got me into mess with photoshop to make my own. I had some avs done by muff and master_chibi as well.
talking about oversized AVs i remember this dude leonhart something had this kyo portrait as his av back when everybody had just one strip of space for an AV in the vBulletin years he would post from time to time in the KOF section but I heard he was a GD regular too.

I remember a time (FRX) when JiBbo, Yeah_Dood_120 (Yeah Dood 120%), and I drove 6 hours to Atlanta to get to that event!!! Was like a last minute thing!

I miss having the rep system. Wiz got super pissed at Valaris and myself for the circle jerk threads because our rep surpassed Supreme Commander so he had to keep creating new ranks or the rep system would malfunction which in turn would fuck up the forum servers.

Aww man I forgot that. Final Round was great. I still talk to Yeah Dood 120 and Jibbo. Jibbo goes by Automattock on twitch whenever he streams. He actually ended up being on a team with Smug for SFV 3v3 teams live Capcom broadcast and I saw that shit and was geeking out about it.
I ended up road tripping to NC from AL to actually hang out with them for a few days. And I cussed like a sailor ALL the time on xbl for years while playing them in 3S and they just laughed at me (as I was losing) to their characters. Man I walked in their house and their mom had Jesus everywhere. I felt so bad, I was like, “Guys all these years I’ve been saying GD on the mic and calling you guys other not great things, you could’ve told me to stop saying that”. I think Jibbo told me to stop being a bitch as a response. Good times.

lol the rep bar didn’t know what the hell it was for a while but it was always on the red i didn’t know the reason why then one day i found out about it while checking my profile for the first time all the hate messages i was receiving.
