Dunnow if it’s normal with Hawkeye but I can do triple launcher sj[:h:] combos with web ball assist. They seem to drop with other assists, like Wesker’s for example. I ‘feels’ as if HSD is reset since I can do the third magic series, but my combo doesn’t get the damage reset.
I hope someone explains how it’s done.
i heard that it’s not a real combo and is a combo counter glitch, but im still unsure
i think launching is not allowed in the combo but im not sure

Afaik, the counter glitch doesn’t reset the damage on the damage info window.
Good stuff but I think that only works midscreen. I was hoping the link was for the glitch though.
What glitch are we referring to? The web ball assist one? Also it works everywhere on screen I have like three more combos recorded of it. One’s on Wolverine in the corner, to show one, that it can be done in the corner and two, that it works on smaller characters as well. Noticed that we don’t see much conversions from that high in the air so I wasn’t sure if it’s because people didn’t know how or if they thought it was impossible so I made something for it.
Yeah, the web ball one. There’s a video of Deadpool using the bolo to do unscaled damage and HSD reset so I reckon the web ball is supposed to work as either point or assist.
As for the sj combo conversion, most chars with good conversion make use of the option select sj:h: with either dive kick, helm breaker, knee dive, etc. so it’s not in your favour to go air-to-air with :l: or ; if you start with :h: however, it’s harder to confirm the web swing. Still, that has to be the best looking and most effective confirm to date.
Yeah I have that already recorded as well. The air to air option depends more on the character you’re using. You can omit the :l: and as I found out after testing it later in the night but that was my first recording and concept of the idea. As for web ball I think it only applies to the assist but no one is exactly sure how to activate it. The best theory I heard thus far is attacking as soon as they touch the ground webbed up but that I don’t see working for everyone. The only thing special web ball does on point is negate fly screen in super jump combos when done solo but not after TACs. I’m definitely interested in anything that can boost combo-ability and damage output
Z, can you upload the vid of the sj combo but done in the corner. I’ve got my bnbs maxed out so with that idea, it’d be possible to make an FChamp reset at the end part of the combo.
If it works, I may have to swap Doom and Hawkeye’s positions or just go the for poison~KoF~UWT reset.
As soon as I get to a safe location I’ll get what I have up.

in any panic situation w/ doom you can just ground photon array super and see what happens
when using missiles combo, try to cross them up to web throw them into the corner. it’s possible with a zip if they are in the corner after the air series
i feel like you can use certain moves in certain matches a bit more. vs magneto you can go for spider stings, vs dante and vergil you can go for web throws if they are in the air [vergils especially, in order to beat helm breaker] but not when they’re on the ground and have access to teleports
when you got a lot of meter consider waking up with any one of spidey’s invincible supers
you know that habit where you do crLH with spidey instead of crLMH? do that with doom for ground hits as crM will whiff after crL sometimes

i like the jH zip jS jab convert for air to airs, i’ve never gotten to use it in a match myself just knew it in training mode
You can’t panic against Vergil swords then.

Unless you dash then jump and do webzip it will guaranteed with all chracters without worrying about timing, but spidey has to be kinda not finishing the air magic series and ends up in the corner himself.

Pretty sure he DHCed into photon array because he thought that he just needed that little extra to kill of the character. He didn’t do it for damage.
not 100% a panic situation if you know what you can’t do
although you could try to sphere flame vs swords, idk. force him to block a little i guess? probably will still get hit so just block
also i need to specify “ground” photon array. it’s decent. safe on block, on hit can xf to kill
a) it adds a good amount of damage and since he isn’t doing the extra web swing which is somewhat tricky based on character, he can definitely figure out a way to do it consistently
b) i did say for ground hits
c) yeah he did try to do it for damage and it really didn’t do anything. photon array grounded after chaotic flame is really just relegated to switch to doom safely.
