how come does everyone put Chun as top tier but then they say she has low priority?!? I am not that good at 3s but seriously, her back fierce punch has HUGE priority. How can ken be 2nd? He has some of the most damaging combos and almost all of his moves cancel into his kick super which he gets hella quick and is better than chun’s super cuz it’s a little safer.Honestly, a blocked chun super always equals a easy parry into a easy super. I think Yun should be 2nd in the rankings not 1st. He also gets super really quick and he has decent mixup too. Sine his super is a custom the thing just looks like ownage when someone uses it. I think the top three in order are
1:Ken
2:Yun
3:Chun

He wasnt THAT far off… maybe on a couple, but his underlaying tiers were fairly close… he said he wasnt that close. His Elena was far mispalced, his alex, hugo and oro up too high, his akuma and his dudley too low.

Why the fuck is Urien second tier…?:mad: Every tier list I see he is in 2nd tier. Why is that…? Shouldn’t he be put in the top-tier with all his high damage Multi-Tackle combos and his Unblockable and all…?
it’s difficult to catch a good player into urien’s best setups.
he needs to connect a low fierce or fireball… not an easy task.
corner traps are pretty easy to block most of the time, mid screen unblockables are parry’able, and the unblockable used by tokido in evo2002 is now escapable.

Urien is funny. I think he falls right in between top tier and 2nd tier, because he’s basically a cheesy character, so he can cheap himself to hang with the top tiers but not good enough to be there.
Admiral Akbar: haha i know everyone has their own opinion, but in his list Elena is obviously too high, her combos just arent damagin enough.
There is no way Hugo is second tier, he dies to every top tier character, and even the second tier guys owns him silly, the mid-tier gives him trouble, does he actually have a good match up?

*Ken can consistently win more matchups than Chun. Chun excels better than Ken in certain matchups, but not overall.
*Some matchups have not yet been adequately tested between high level players. For example, no one in So.Cal uses Necro at high-level efficiency, and despite the tiering, almost ALL Makoto players will be unable to lockdown a Hugo matchup. (There is a playing style that clinches the win against Hugo, but it is so contrary to her normal style of playing that it requires its own skill-set.)

You really dont know wasup with Hugo fool. I kill top tier with Hugo. Only problem up there is Chun,and shes beatable with him too. Alex is where he should be too, learn em and then talk. I only put Elena that high cause I see Combo Fiend reck shop with her against any character. Crouching strong brave dance takes about half or standing short brave dance. She dosn’t need combos when all her normals are great,she has the second fastest dash in the game,and mulitlpe overheads. Not to mention nice karra range. Oro? Hes sick have u seen Hung B beat Chuns with him?
But hey I’m not perfect but u should get out more so u can see other characters smash on top tiers.

I have seen anybody beating anybody as long as they are good enough. But that doesnt mean anything.
The tiers list is just a reference guide, doesnt mean u are always goin to win with Chun or Ken.
and the fact that u put Dudley so low only means ur goin by ur own standard. excatly so learn him and then talk.
Dont mistake how good characters are with the actual people playing them. Tiers are really a reference guide. Hung and Combo can dominate, but its the not characters they use. Its the actual people playing them. Hung and Combo have a lot of skill to do the things they do. It is not easy. I watch them first hand. All someone needs is the right tactic to set up someone and the right parry at the right time and the tides can change in an instant. Hung and Combo make do of what a character is capable of plus bit of orginality put in the mix.
Any character is capable of anything if you put the right player behind it. Arlieth’s tier list and any other that are similar to it are really accurate. Sean, Hugo, 12, or whatever low tier there is can win. It just takes more effort to pull it off.
