I have to disagree. I’m a Yun player and Dudley is one of my toughest fights. He’s quick for the power he has, has great links and juggles, has SRK for AA but also if he knows your going to jump in with an attack he’s got CC. MGB is easily parried, but good players are going to use them in combos and not just throw out the random MGB. Plus Dudley is one of the tougher characters to juggle.

I think your “opinion” is wrong:p on just about all points. except the low game, that is pretty true but he can make up for it.
Were did you hear that 5% of Japanese players use Dudley?
Did you see the corperation cup vids? Quite a few of the people used him (we was one of the more used characters actually)
And call me crazy, but I think a national tourny counts as “serious compatition”

Dudley is actually played quite a lot in Japan. AFAIK he’s ranked just a bit under top tier there.
And he has great anti-airs, he can cancel strong/roundhouse into DP or Machine Gun or Corkscrew Blow or worse, he can command dash under you then super you from the other side.
He’s not easy to trap at all because of Corkscrew Blow and that move when he lunges back then forward (free super if it connects).
Moves are parry-friendly? Are you kidding? Moves such as jumping fierce or standing roundhouse are NOT easy to parry.
The only thing I’d agree with is his relative footsie weakness.

Well, I expect to get a bit of questioning from this, but there is one character who I think needs to be reckoned upon:
Ibuki
I think people underestimate this gal in the game, but in truth, her speed is second to none. She has a great deal of fast pokes, her I super does more block damage than normal damage, and her II super is a considerably good chunker-of-life attack.
Now, I’m not too experienced in any of the others except for Elena and Chun-Li, so I may be wrong in my opinion, but after seeing a guy use Ibuki at a tourney, I gained a great deal of respect for both him and Ibuki as a character.
Her SAI doesn’t do more chip than damage. But it does most chip in the game.
Two problems with Ibuki - Damage and Stun.
She takes damage like Akuma, without the benefit of offensive strength. She also has a tiny stun bar, which definitely negatively accentuates the heavy damage she’s taking. To play well, you have to work your ass off the whole match, with very little return on your investment. It can be done, but it’s really not worth the effort in my opinion. Jab srk ruins your day every time.

Ibuki has a standard-length stun bar. Only Remy and Gouki have short stun bars. Why they gave Remy a short stun bar, I don’t know. Should have given it to Chun Li instead.
Oh, and Ibuki is good if the person playing her’s last name is Lee.

ive been absolutely murdered by some good ibukis, and she seems to be able to stun you like its no bodys business.
i think if she actually had any stamina she would def. be top tier.

But keep in mind that if a player is exceptional and ot knows how to use his character well you may see any character dominate cept for maybe Sean.
