Depends on matchup imo, if i’m against a Drones rushdown team or a team that can easily snipe Missiles and I need to rushdown I run Plasma Beam for more screen control, but if its a matchup where I can run away ( i’m a defensive/zoning player so yeah ) I just run Missiles.
I think Missiles is just better in general, saves my Zero a lot and many people just don’t know how to deal with missiles, also I think there are a few assists comparable to Plasma Beam but theres just not a real replacement for Missiles, plus its a solid combo extender and its a bit harder to extend with Plasma Beam.
The best zoners tend take to the air when controlling space, that’s why I love HM against them. TBH I use HM against everyone other than Drones assist.
There are some occasions where I gotta change it up on the player playing the character i.e. certain beam hypers/ THCs that love to kill assists I rather use PB for.
Thinking of switching it up some and going Zero/Hawk/Ammy. Can you guys think of any useful synergy here? Yes before I’m told what a mistake this team is I know, I’m doing Zero a terrible injustice here but I’m thinking this might be fun for a while.
Hey guys, was just wondering some tips on what i should do with zero when a new character is coming in or after i snapback…
there’s obviously the L lightning but i can’t hold them down as well without dante, and i feel like i shouldn’t do the L lightning every time…

crime your setup isn’t half bad, it’s practically a variation of one of the better zero player’s teams, Zero vergil hawk.
ammy provides some VERY dirty mixups holding your opponent down, i think she can also help combo extend nicely in the corner. (knock them into corner, call assist, jump QCF+M/H). hawkeyes assist can mixup too.
i think hawk can even help you relaunch mid screen via assist.
Pretty obvious yo, Zero/Jam Session has been god like for ages, and Dark Vergils have been popping up left and right. I mean the original was ZVD due to Vergil DHC damage but with the LL becoming more and more consistent among Zero players, it only makes sense that ZDV is becoming more and more popular, seeing as how all 3 are 1 hit ToD capable ( at least Dante is with a Vergil DHC )
Surprised though, I would figure Zero/Doom/Ammy ( My current team, going to love it as soon as my Ammy stops being fraudulent ) would be more down Marlins alley, I always felt like Viper had to take too many risks/was too twitchy in general, whereas Zero is just straight auto-pilot, at least with his execution. Oh well, I guess Doom/Ammy synergy is overshadowed by what Jam Session does for Zero, along with the fact that with all these Dark Anchors running rampant, having the trump card that beats them all, AKA Spiral Swords, is becoming more and more of a necessity.
people are just running it cause they know it’s good. i’ve considered it the best team for awhile, i hope it doesn’t get too crazy with the amount of zvd’s.
i doubt he’ll run it in tourny, unless he did?

nope. nothing more. you can tell he’s just trying it out cause like i said before, it’s popular and known to extend the hell out of zeros combos with 2 other fun/cool characters.

Also, don’t look now but people are starting to recognize how sick Nova’s Centurian Rush is. It’s sooooo good for Zero - I may need to pick back up my first Ultimate team: Zero/Nova/Hawkeye.

Gonna rock Zero/Dante/Felicia for a while. Unblockable/ hard to blockables with Dante/Felicia are fun as shit but haven’t quite cracked the Zero/Felicia synergy yet. Still day 1 and it’s the first time I’ve played in a whole month. BUT I LIKE IT!
What makes her such a good anchor? I probably need to hop over to the Felicia forums, but I’ve been hearing this for a while and I don’t understand why.
She has a great poking/ command grab game and is generally pretty well rounded. Sure she can’t deal with EVERYTHING i.e. Trish but meh.
But I wouldn’t say she’s got easy combos tbh, that shit’s pretty tight. But it’s rewarding cos of that.
