Wanted to share something I found with my zero team! Sorry if it was discovered before.

Hmm that’s true. But on another note I’m looking also for an assist that help get net me over 8k or even a ToD. I’m practicing LL( lighting loops) but I still need a lot of practice so any suggestions on what character might help with that I was thinking maybe dorm cuz he’s also an ok anchor 
Lastest Experiment: Zero/Nova/Strider
This team has a lot of potential. Strider acts a zoning aid/lockdown/annoying assist, while Nova allows me to corner-to-corner easily with Centurion Rush. If I’m already in the corner, I can use it as 1 last extension before lightning loop since it’ll ground bounce (really friggin’ high) after Sentsuizan. Add to that while Nova is on point, he scores a free combo (even from fullscreen) whenever Strider knocks someone out of the air with Vajra. I think there’s a good chance with more experimentation I can figure out some combo extensions for Nova with Vajra assist as well. Also looks like I can lightning loop after a Supernova.
If I can get Nova’s quick up-down dash :l: down I think it’ll be a free combo whenever Vajra makes any type of contact with a grounded opponent.
Can we get this stickied? A lot of team related threads being made clogging the forum.
Tried Zero/Vergil/Doom for a week… I’m already crawling back to Dante. Dunno how you guys do it lol
Drop Dante, move Doom to second and run Strider anchor. Bananas.
The problem with Vergil is I feel like hes Zero, he really needs a team built around him for him to be really effective. He needs some kind of OTG assist and horizontal assist that doesn’t cause soft knockdown to really function at full power. You really aren’t getting much out of vergil running him without either of those.
Also, I say it a lot but i’ll say it again. Doom is an ass anchor regardless of what anyone says.

I messed with Zero/Nova a lot early on. Best anchor is probably Strider though I think Magneto could work too.
Strider gives Zero great lockdown, mixups and resets. He gives Nova a free combo whenever Vajra knocks the opponent out the air. You’ll get a hard knockdown which you can hit confirm with Nova’s various OTGs.
Maybe I will learn strider. One of my good friends plays him. He could probably help me out with that. Thank you!
I was thinking of taking morrigan off my team because I am tired of doing all them soul fist,anyways does anyone here play pad zero? I can do his lighting combos but its kinda hard to do on pad(ps3) anyone got any tips?

I play it on the 360 pad, which i imagine it’s easier on. By lightning combos, do you mean ones with the LL in them, or ones that just use the lightning? Practice shoryuken motion on the pad i guess, that’s really all the advice i can give you.
I’m currently running Zero, Vergil, Arthur. I’m runnng Arthur with dagger assist and honestly it benefits Vergil pretty good. But without X-Factor, I seem to loose a lot with Arthur. I was wondering if their was a character that I could use with an assist that really helps Zero & Vergil’s mixups and is still a good anchor. (Besides Hawkeye) lol.

I would consider these 3: magneto, dante, ammy (she has that speed boost in x-factor).
I think ammy would be your best choice. she’s still hella good and many players haven’t faced a good ammy.
or you could end up like me with a braindead sentinel assist.
Taskmaster. If you saw Acekillah’s Viper/Vergil/Taskmaster team video, you would already know what I’m about to talk about, but Task’s horizontal arrows can do many of the same things that daggers can. He’s also a very good character, actually, who for some reason, has been cast aside in favor of Hawkeye by a large portion of players.
You also couldn’t go wrong with Dante, of course.
I was never really much of a fan of Amy but I’ll try her out. As far as Sentinel goes, he stay’s on the screen to long for me. He get’s blown up all the time by supers like Dormammu’s Chaotic Flame and Ryu’s Hadoken.
I saw Acekillah’s video and Arrows are godlike for Vergil but I don’t like them too much because it doesn’t have the cross-up potential of daggers for Zero. As for Zero, Vergil, Dante, I love that team but I just feel like I need an assist besides Jam Session to get in with.
Tried running a variety of teams yesterday, Zero/Spencer/Doom, Zero/Wesker/Dante, Zero/wesker/Strider, Zero/spencer/Wesker, and Zero/Dante/Strider. Strongest of these is probably either Zero/Dante/Strider, Zero/Spencer/Wesker, or Zero/wesker/strider. If my dante was any good, i’d use that team, but it’s not, so i stick with doom.
Anyone know what slot i should put spencer on?
