To me, working the neck to set up a neckbreaker finisher makes as much sense as working the arm for an arm submission. Working a body part doesn’t have to be just for submission holds.
Working for subs is cool. Hence the series between Rusev/Swagger being so good based on both of their selling.
Reason we never see Cena sell is that Cena is an avatar for vince both shoot and work. Instead of selling the beatings from lesnar, cena comes back even stronger
Hulk Hogan lost to Ric Flair and Arn Anderson thanks to a high heel shoe and disappeared for a month.
But cena gets absolutely demolished by Brock and comes back pissed off and never selling anything. Meanwhile Swagger still selling his ribs and rusev has that achilles heel still bothering him.
Vulneralbility makes people want the hero to win.
Why did kane and orton not come out to prevent reigns from winning?
That interview Dixie did on the ESPN offshoot site was horrible and arrogant. She has such a misguided view of the wrestling community and her own business and didn’t leave any endearing impressions to anyone with her comments.
If I was a Spike TV Exec and saw this, from a PR perspective, I would cut them loose the moment I could.
Raw or NXT are the only shows they air so why should they defend either the US or IC title on NXT?
Also just to clarify, Daboog i am not sure what imaginary world you’re in that you think Swagger is over.
If NXT 4 way proved anything, it’s that the live audience are idiots and will chant anything including CM Punk for like no reason.
It was just a few idiots that tried to start a CM Punk chant during the fatal 4-way. The crowd shut that shit down quick. NXT fans know how to police themselves.
I suggest you guys visit this forum often, for awesome threads like this:
Also, any of you been to RAW/Smackdown? People chant random things for no reason. Had a Let’s Go Cena/Cena Sucks chant on Smackdown and he wasn’t even there. People also chant JBL for no reason. There was also a lonely man doing “We The People” on his own, there was just silence…
