Frank, I 100% concur w/ya. “Don’t fix what isn’t broken.” I was looking up how some other tournaments lay out the rules for ST tournaments. If they’re doing EVO standards, what I’ve found is that they do exactly as Frank said, “No Akuma, Turbo 3,” which is what is posted up in the 1st post of this thread. Everything is set or rather it was set anyway, but now everything is good & set in stone.

Mike, I’ll switch ya up & putya in CVS2 instead of ST.

I’ll post up the Equipment List sometime either 2maro or Tuesday whenever I get the chance.

And that’s perfectly fine. Problem is, the way they wanna run this is using AE, but limiting it to ST and O.-version characters only.

That would be all well and good, but AE made changes to certain characters within those styles (Ken’s Reversal Super, no charge storing, O.Sagat made shit, etc.), and to try to play Hyper as if it were ST is just gimping AE like the Smashers do their game.

I know of the changes in the game sir. Thanks. If we play AE, we play with ALL the characters. Period. Josh Queen knows this. CE Bison, included. The only character that is banned ever is Akuma.

Add me in for power strips, I can bring 1 or 2 as well.

Also, on the ST:AE thing, I think I was the only one who ASKED about S and ST only. I wasn’t looking to cause a shitstorm. Hell, it doesn’t matter anyway because I’m not going to win, or even come close to it.
I really hope STHD comes out soon and kills off all these other versions.

I dont think I will be bringing my PS3. I dont want to have to hover around it all day, and be tied down watching it all day. I am using the opportunity to play some Drum Mania 3 at Gameworks when I’m not matching.

So, Mike, yall actually have the volume turned on, on that game? I see it at random arcades and they have it MUTED or real low. Its a MUSIC game.

Diego, I hate 2 bust ur bubble on this. Percussion Freaks does have volume on, a stool 2 sit on, & drumsticks attached 2 the game; however, if I remember correctly, the game is currently broke as of the moment. I’m working 2maro down @ Gameworks, so if it’s still broken or not fixed yet, I’ll ask the technicians what is wrong w/ it & see if they’ll have it fixed by Saturday.
