Hello all, just wondering if there’s a good BNB goin’ around since I imagine it’s not the same as in vanilla. Sorry to ask in here, but the combo thread is totally dead. The Brady guide’s suggested combo doesn’t even break 600k w/ glasses on; was wondering if you guys have been doing any better than those (I’m assuming you have). Thanks! Oh, for team/assist reference, my current idea is Wesker Ryu Sent, but who knows where it’ll go.

Well I did some things using Wesker’s angled gun. It can break 600k in certain instances using an assist and 1 hyper bar, unfortunately it seems it is mostly the larger characters because of their size. Good news is the meter you get is decent,you get a few option selects, and it works on all characters. I got a video to demonstrate my findings in the video thread. The other video I have is using that same loop I made and made an inescapable lvl 3, which through strict timing deals out 1.031-033 depending on whether you used s.b or c.b.

I should note that the BnB deals around 500 (or more) damage with an assist, but it deals a solid 450 and nets about about 60-70% meter by itself.

Hey guys I dont know if this has been asked before but I am new to Wesker and I was wondering if there was some sort of timing/trick to canceling his qcf+M(wallbounce move) into his L teleport. I tried mashing L right after qcf+M but this still proved to be inconsistent and was wondering how to get it out consistently. I know I can just dash and launch but I’d rather L teleport to get behidn the opponenet so that they are midscreen for maximum possible damage if I choose to use Maximum Wesker.

After Wesker takes his glasses off when using maximum wesker, do the glasses stay off granting the 10% boost?

I’m new to Marvel, and whenever I do the LMHS, (air) MHS, land, I can’t get the gunshot to come out, and when I call the assist, it comes too late. for the assist I’m using Viper’s seismic.

Wesker new bnb w/o glasses c.m, c.h, qcf.l, l. Tele, otg gunshot, c.h, qcf.l, l. Tele, c.h, qcf.l, l. Tele, call assist, otg gunshot, assist juggles long enough for max wesker to hit. The most damage I got was 860,000…
W/ glasses the bnb is the same as vanilla check the combo section.
And if ur gonna launch do mmhs land otg. The timing for otg just takes practice. And if ur still having problems then delay ur air series a tiny bit.

I asked this question earlier but got no answer so I will ask again, but is there a way to consistently get out the L teleport (or any teleport) after qcf+M? I tried mashing L but that still seems to be inconsistent. Is it just strict timing? Because teleport after qcf+L seems so easy compared to getting it out after qcf+M…

I’d like some help as I’m a bit confused about something and I also know part of this has been covered in this thread but I still have a question.

I’ve heard somewhere that the input time for Samurai Edge :df::h: followed by cr.:m: is about when Wesker is putting the gun back in his coat, is that correct ?

Second, also, I’ve heard somewhere that one can’t connect :df::h: :d::m: after an air combo, is that so ?
I mean, I surely can’t normally but when I have X-factor, Wesker seems to recover much faster and I’m able to do it. I’d just like to know if I can do it without X-factor.

For quite some time I neglected this because my assists allowed me to extend wesker’s combos easily but I think I should make better use of it if it happens that he is alone.
So, is :s:, j.:m:, j.:m:, j.:h:, j.:s:, :df::h:, :d::m: impossible ? (At least without X-factor)

Mashing really doen’t work all that well for teleporting with Wesker. Honestly it all comes down to practice and timing with one button press, about 2-3 frames after the hit with qcf+M. Once you get the timing down it shouldn’t be inconsistant at all, it fact it will probably become second nature.

It is in fact possible without X-factor. It does however require Wesker without glasses though. I still think it might be possible with glasses but it might be too difficult for human input. Thanks to you though I found some more fun things I can do with Wesker, which I must say thanks for. :slight_smile:

I have a quick question on getting in with Wesker. I play Task as an assist, so if I wanted to do arrows and then teleport for a left/right mix up, how exactly do I input this? Is it assist, then teleport, or do you do the input for teleport then hit assist and L, M, H at the same time? Basically looking for the actual input/timing help.

I call my assist as I start the teleport motion, so its basically something like - Forward + P1, Down, Down Forward, L/M/H.

The timing is going to be slightly different depending on your assist, I play with Hawkeye right now which requires the teleport input to go through extremely quickly because of the speed of the assist, with taskmaster it would be done a bit slower.

What attacks should you press and when should you press them when trying to do Wesker’s air to ground combo? Like on an incoming character or something . or when they’re in the air in general. What ive been trying is j.m j.m then rejump j.m j.m, then I cant get it to connect after they fall… I just got bodied by this so I need to figure it out :stuck_out_tongue:

Donno if it’s just me, but the second loop’s timing feels a bit more finnicky compared with vanilla.

it isn’t that bad. but it is pretty shitty.

when you’re doing the light teleport after a qcf.L, sometimes it crosses up and sometimes you stay on the same side… is there a way to guarantee which side you are gonna be on? it messes me up a lot and I miss the df.H otg after… i feel like i should just be wave dashing after it like in vanilla but the tele does make spacing easier. thanks.
