The Walking Dead - A New Series from AMC

This was a complete mental breakdown, he was just angry before wasn’t he?

No, just bat shit crazy

Sent using my Evo…not the 3D ish…eff 3D!

In my opinion he snapped shortly after he killed Otis, he’s just been barely holding it in.

He also showed his psychopathic side early in season 1 when he was contemplating about shooting Rick in the woods.

so are we gonna talk about this whole turning without being bit, cut or scratched? And the speed of the transformation…Because if thats the case then it makes sense why there are so man walkers, but based on what we saw earlier it seemed like it too atleast a hour or more. Shanes seem kinda rapid, although they kinda hinted at the speed of which it was happening with the flashes… . But I feel like shane might have setup more than he let on or he had some sort of plan.

In the books the zombie virus is airborne and everyone living is infected with it. It only remains dormant until the host dies.
The rate of “zombification” varies with each person. Some turn almost immediately while others take days.

This is zombie apocalypse 101, people!

Damn man spoilers lol

Spoiler

I guess Sophia being a walker with barely any bites is explained too. She probably just died.

Spoiler

I thought Sophia had a bite on her left shoulder

Yeah Sofia had a big bite on her shoulder.

And Voodoodoodazz is right, how ya’ll not gonna know zombie basics. STEP YOUR ZOMBIE UP PEEPS.

Entertainment Weekly has posted an interview with Jon Bernthal about [details=Spoiler]the death of Shane in “Better Angels,”[/details] speaking to his character’s feelings in the moment.
[details=Spoiler]“There’s a whole part of the character that I think some people may or may not pick up on, but I think there’s a part of Shane himself that knows he is no longer fit to be among the people,” Bernthal told EW. “He knows how much of a danger he is. He knows now he’s killed yet another human being, and I think a part of this is him really spurring and challenging and getting Rick to step up and encompass what Shane has and take Shane out. I think there’s a suicidal flavor. There’s a flavor there that’s really saying, ‘Come on, man, I’m challenging you to be the man that’s fit to raise the woman I love and the child I love and my child on the way. Come on and step up, raise your gun.’ And there’s a part of him that so desperately wants Rick to be that man, and when Rick finally does it, there’s an element of some sort of relief.”[/details]
Thats the vibe I got as well… Gonna miss dudes acting

I think the 2 straws that broke the camel’s back were when Carl had a confession to tell Shane, and also when Lori came and had a heart to heart talk with him when shane was hammering the platform. I think especially that Lori talking to him is what pushed him over the edge, mentally.

good job Lori…shane you will be missed

Yup. Closure = Death.

One might say he went…InShane.

Episode was sick. T- Dawg staying black as always, good shit.

This last episode started out boring but it got better. What doesn’t make sense to me is the ending

Spoiler

Shane and the prisoner turning into zombies is some strange stuff. I believe we’ve seen other people who didn’t die by zombie bites and they didn’t come back as zombies. The two men Rick killed in the bar for example. I wonder if they really thought about that twist when they put that in. Was that in the comic? Also I am taken aback at how Carl managed to sneak away from the others again. I didn’t quite hear the explanation for this on Talking Dead as I was crunching on some cereal at the time. It seems quite silly that they let it happen again.

Damn, Im really gonna miss shane, I didn’t agree with him but he was a very interesting character and a good anti rick. But I guess he wasn’t really needed with the governor being introduced in season 3 and all.

You have to remember, rick gave both of them head shots(same as Dale), and the writer claims that if you go back and re-watch some of the old episodes(like the scene at the abandoned highway) you’ll see most of the dead bodies have suffered some kind of head trauma.

Yep you are right, remember the fat guy turns and Rick shoots him again Glenn says “you were right”

I kinda like everyone except t dog and Laurie fuck them, that being said I’d love it if Mazzara had the balls to kill off everyone and introduce a new cast now that there is considerable investment in (some of) these people, too bad that’s never happening.

It’s no Breaking Bad but even with it’s flaws TWD is one of the best shows on tv, and the fact that so many people care enough to bitch about it is a good sign.
