There’s Broadwalk Empire, IMO best written show on at the moment
Boardwalk Empire is fucking legit.
Jenner told Rick that Dale’s eyebrows have superpowers.
I like Shaft Agent’s second theory.
I just caught up and caught the mid finale. I must say, the whole season has been a real bore, but the ending was pretty amazing on a lot of levels. I’ll give them that. Not sure if it makes up for the other boring ass episodes, but the last bit was probably the best of this season.
Interesting seeing the polar views of Rick and Shane and what they represent. Shane definitely seems more concerned about himself though, so I’m not sure if that many people will want to follow that in the long run.
Who the hell is Jenner?
lol, newb.
rick theory
Spoiler
First theory makes more sense, Shane honestly thought he was dead. Maybe he’s the zombie equivalent of a day walker
The CDC guy who died in the explosion at the end of season 1
AMC Renews The Walking Dead for a Third Season
“Today we are pleased to announce that the ‘dead’ shall live as we proudly renew The Walking Dead for a third season on AMC and, globally, with our terrific partners at Fox International Channels,” said Charlie Collier, AMC’s President. “We are thankful for everyone’s contribution in front of and behind the camera as we continue to make The Walking Dead a unique television experience. And, we are so proud as it continues to set viewership records around the world.”
Ohhhhh. Just been too long so I forgot about it.
Damn, just entered here to see what the hell was up with the new episode not being about.
FEBRUARY?!
Well, I hope this season is not 8 episodes strong like season 1. Give me a solid 15 - 20 would be great and thats good.
We’re already 7 in, with another 7-8 to go
i think i know what CDC dude told him in the last episode of season 1, and i don’t think it’s any important plot point.
This isn’t really a spoiler so i won’t bother with tags. But anyway in the comic it takes (i think it’s when they’re in the prison?) almost 40-50 issues before Rick’s the one to wrap the title of the comic into a speech. “Haven’t you figured it out by now! We ARE the walking dead! yar yar yar yar yar” (verbatim, obviously). It’s very cheesy in the comic and you see it coming at the start of the speech.
The writers for the show probably still want to force this line into the show somehow, and it makes perfect sense to have some random new guy say it, but then reveal it much later as a quick flashback when Rick is at his lowest.
Sorry if it’s not an interesting theory, but i think that’s what it is. And from a writers standpoint it makes a lot of sense.
Nope
They’ve been dead the whole time, they were actually the zombies, and the zombies were actually living people.
Maybe they’ll pull an I Am Legend ending to the series

And I don’t mean that shitty movie
got around to reading the comics
much better than the show. up to issue 25 right now.
any1 play the board game?
there is a single player option too
if having 15-20 episodes means they have to move at the rate of molasses like they are this season, then just give me 8 episodes. the children dragged down the show long enough.
So I’m reading through the comics. I asked for them for Christmas, my wife picked me up the compendium #1 which collects the first 48 issues. So far, I’ve been tearing through it. Interesting to see what got added, what got cut, what is completely different, and what just got shifted around. Just got to

The part where the trio gets captured by the Governer
And it’s really fucking intense. I can see why they made a lot of the changes they did, like adding the whole tank thing by taking an image from the comic and using it. I can sort of forgive some of the Shane stuff, but they better not rob the awesome moment from the show. I can’t really understand why they added bumblefuck to the cast instead of just having them run into Tyreese early on. Even stuff like the CDC was completely made up (or comes later) and didn’t really fit with the whole theme. And it’s weird how they take something so late in the series (the helicopters) and put it in so early in the series (episode 1 or 2).
Anyhow, gonna go back to reading them. Really curious where the show is going to go; they’ve already shown you they are ready to throw off the comic and go in new directions, so not sure how Hershel is going to react. I just hope they do the Prison justice.
I forsee 12 episodes of relationship drama with a few new well zombies thrown in, though
