The bad news we only have 2 more episodes this season.
The good news, season 2 is 13 episodes
yeah my mom told me about the 6 episode thing last night
when would season 2 start up?
great show.
filler? the show is about the humans. if anything, the filler is the zombies getting shot in the head.
That line is the directorâs fault, shit was mad stupid.
This series has way more survivors than the books. The books had pockets of them, but pretty much you felt the main guys were all that was alive until they met small pockets of survivors, like a family here, some prisoners there.
WELLLLL, not top tier. Kino from Ninja Turtles 2 has that honorâŚhe was korean, delivered pizza, but unlike Glenn, he ALSO delivered ass-whippings.
also, why would jim be so pissed that the officer beat the shit out of the guy who hit his wife?
seems like they needed some reason for him to be crazy or something. who would support the guy beating his wife? kinda lame.
^^
It could have been his cop-out excuse about not being in charge of the situation. He probably didnât really care, but that was one thing he though he could hold over Shaneâs head.
I think after this season, I am out.
Unless in the previews they have Michonne and Tyrese owning and they get on the road, I am probably out.
Thatâs disappointing that a cute one was killed off now. The older blonde though⌠I actually think sheâs fairly hittable. Itâs unfortunate that due to the context of the story scenario, sheâs going to have that âtormentedâ look on her face probably 99% of the time we see her.
season finale looks meh. looks like nothing will be accomplished. âwhole world is deadâ ok
Todayâs ending⌠Yeah, would be leading me on the same path as you.
Nah, that guy is too big and lovable, not to mention too young.
Wow. They are taking the show in a COMPLETELY different direction from the book. Part of me is glad since I donât know whatâs going to happen next and another part of me is kind of apprehensive from the blatant deviation from the graphic novel. Iâm also a little disappointed that I probably wonât see some of the bookâs most pivotal moments on the little screen.
I personally think itâs WAY too early for them to find some authority figure who has some clue about the virus and my biggest fear is that it will become formulaic really fast. Thatâs what made the GN so great; it didnât follow any formula and you literally had no idea how things were going to unfold.
Iâll still stick by this show for season two when they actually have a full 13 episodes to work with.
After the pilot they already started to trudge through the formula swamp.
It goes like thisâŚ
- Argue/recap over what happened last episode (Camp Attack)
- While arguing still, have something new come up like 20 minutes later (Jim getting bit and them wanting to go to the CDC)
- Argue some more. Oh yeah no Zombies allowed.
- After about 40 minutes in, they usually decide to do something. (finally go to the CDC)
- So we finally start to do the something, but you have to wait for a little more arguing. (Trying to go to the CDC, but have to take forever to leave Jim and show CDC guy out of nowhere)
- Itâs like 5 minutes before the show ends, and something finally happens. (this time they get to the CDC and argue. There is a zombie. They all freak out over the ONE zombie. Then the surprise ending happens AKA THE DOOR OPENS! The End)
That is the show in a nut shell. It is not a good show.
Itâs like Breaking Bad, except Breaking Bad was about 3 billion times better. Sure there was a formula, but it just implemented so much better.
They are dragging some things out with no big payoff.
Breaking Bad was great for all 3 seasons, but Iâm kind of done with the show because it canât go anywhere else.
Walking Dead can improve if they work on the characters more and less zombie attacks.
Oh snap, I forgot all about this with the events of Thanksgiving.
Yeah, I was disappointed with the episode overall as well. It wouldnât have been so bad if it werenât the second from the last episode of the season.
I hear you on the CDC guy appearing out of nowhere. It took me about a minute to realize that it wasnât a commercial or some kind of promo. lol
I donât have a problem with the arguing because thatâs what people do. People bitch at each other over the most trivial things so why would a post apocalyptic scenario be different?
I think they were freaking out because they were in the middle of zombie city, their one hope was overrun, they were completely exposed, the sun was going down (when zombies are more active) and they were still reeling from the camp attack.
So yeah, they were a bit jumpy.
I am all for arguing. That is what the walking dead is about. But when itâs 55 minutes of arguing with one zombie? They are doing it completely wrong.
You establish the zombies first, then eventually you show that the people are the true threat. They got to the people thing in the second episode and fucked the whole show up.
I would respond to this but I am mesmerized by you av. What the hell?
Man I love this show.i hope Officer fuck his-friends-wife is going to be killed with his stupid accent
Itâs this new Cartoon Network show, the Regular Show.
