The stupid spanish nursing home shit was retarded.
Also, I bet the zombies drove the van to the camp!!

Yeah, in episode 3, they rather heavily implied that Glen’s joyride might draw more zombies out of the city than already seemed to drifting out because of lack of “food” and one did show up last episode, so it’s not like this was out of nowhere. (Especially given the comic books.)
Not sure how I feel about the filler stuff, if only because so eliminates the “aloneness”. Then again, I’ve only read to up like #6 of the comics and I’ve heard people are spoiling things in here about them, so I’ll leave that alone.
Anyone else lol pretty hard at how bad Ed’s face looked. Damn.
Geez, what was the point of the barrio nursing home sub story?? That went absolutely nowhere, unless they serve a vital purpose somewhere down the line, I don’t see the point.
I personally think they should have just focused on the “where’s Muriell” storyline and the inevitable zombie massacre showdown. My sister thinks that Muriell drove the zombies to the camp. LOL… I can just imagine him doing a zombie pied piper routine and loading a bunch of walkers into the van with ONE hand while suffering from blood loss.
I really hope she’s wrong… I really do… why do I suddenly have a bad feeling about this?
LOL at the “chinaman” crack
The look on Glenn’s face as the redneck stuffs the hand in his backpack.
Pretty cool how Glenn takes charge again and reveals his past profession.
It was a damn shame how Amy got bodied in the book and it’s a damn shame when it happened on the show.
Andrea’s final reaction to her sister’s death doesn’t match the book.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure that Ed was a pedo as well as a wife beater, thus cementing him as the biggest scumbag on the show.
How far did Rick and company run to get back to the camp UP hill? Pretty impressive stamina there.
Did I mention how i didn’t like the nursing home story?
It would suck for Glenn if he was indirectly responsible for leading the zombies to camp.
I couldn’t help but laugh at all the randoms getting munched… only thing missing were the red shirts.
The only dude i like so far is the chinese kid… dayyum es-a…
He seems like he would get guns have has a IDFAF attitude
Lot of shyt i dont like… but at the same time its cuz Ive always wanted to be in their shoes ya know…
Jus grab a lot of guns n run wild… but this captures why i hate ppl and the stupid shyt they so… lol
Spoiler tags are out of the question here I guess
and I hope the zombies dont learn easy or somethin gay like talk
Pretty sure the zombies just walked considering how (relatively) quickly the four made it back even without the car.
:bluu: …Seriously?
Glen just said he’s Korean.
True…however, if they do the prison events faithfully, there’s gonna be a dude who might get hated on in real life for his tv role. It’s happened before with tv shows. Women saw the guy and they treated him like crap at stores, on the street, all for a role he portrayed. It’s like they thought that character was real.
They establish this early on in the book and in the TV show too, maybe you just missed it (or maybe it’s a bit later on in the book, but I doubt it). Anyway, your answers are simple:

[details=Spoiler]You dont’ turn by being bitten. You die, and then turn into a zombie regardless of circumstance (unless the conditions of killing a zombie are fulfilled I think like head chopped off, bullet through brain, etc)
As for Shane, Shane DID turn, you just didn’t see it since they buried him before he turned.
Not sure if there’s a consistent time for turning, don’t think there is[/details]
possible BIG spoiler
Issue #75 gives a what-if of Aliens. They’re using the zombies to wipe us out and take our water.
I dunno what happens afterwards, or if it might have just been a dream
Are you talking about old women getting mad at a Matlock villain?
Can’t understand your post Nando. Looked like Shane blinded that guy in one eye. How did I know what Glenn’s profession was before he said it? The show never disappoints.
Wow, this episode really was a turn-off. Hardcore vatos who run a nursing home? Having to stare at whats-her-face for like, THIRTY seconds as her sister dies? Come on. At this rate, they’ll catch up to the comic at about season… 35.
As somebody who hasn’t read a single page of the comic but has been watching this show, I think it’s really well done. The nursing home side story didn’t seem out of place to me, it makes the world seem like it’s still holding on and trying to survive. If it’s just one small group of survivors living in the hills, what’s the point? When you have other people doing the same thing, then it gives you a bit of hope and reason to press on and survive. Add to the fact that what they appear to be, and what they actually are, were at complete opposition to each other and you had a really interesting side story. No complaints from me
“oh now i remember my dream”
/cringe
overall, i like the episode though. not really in the mood to complain about stuff haha.
oh and i read the comics but when i watch the show, i dont really compare em both.
Despite the nursing home being a filler, it did its purpose…
same here.
He’s a top tier Korean, you motherfucker. [/sarcasm]
did anybody else laugh when the wife-beater got zapped by the female zombie? oh man that made my day.
Norman Reedus be the best one in this bitch.
Man I’m gonna be sad when he has to go.
the hospital was a nice touch. Like others have said, it added to the humanity. Walking Dead was never about the zombies, it was about human interactions during crazy times. Besides, they may repay the debt at some point in time. I found it odd that I went from HATING THE FUCK out of the latin kings, to respecting them and wishing them well, all in less than half an hour.
It’s not like the comics really blazed along. Like 75 issues and it’d only been about 9 months or some shit. A lot of the stuff (Tyreese, getting to prison, meeting up with Morgan and Duane again) can probably get rushed, during the show.
I’m still curious as to how they’re gonna handle the end of the series, when it inevitably goes off the air, and I wonder how they’ll handly some of the more touchy subjects later on. Stereotypical racism and zombie buffets are one thing, but some of the later shit is just monstrous, and I can see idiotic religious zealots and grannies with nothing better to do, raising a shitstorm.
is this REALLY a spoiler?
hell, it’s been stated time and time again that Rick will likely inevitably die…that alone could be weird
Good points. I guess I was just too anxious to see some zombie chompin’
if they cast Jada Pinkett Smith as Michonne, I tap out. From what I’ve been reading, she won’t even show up until season 3 (although I can’t see them taking THAT LONG)
edit: Tyreese
USE SPOILERS PPL
He’s supposed to show up in the season finale
[spoiler=]I’m pretty sure it’s been over a year, since Morgan says it himself during his breakdown at the police department. http://funkyimg.com/viewer.php?img=/2/368/367/TheWalkingDead_059_pg008.png
Kirkman has stated numerous times in the monthly letter section that Rick will die sometime in the story, and the story will still continue on.[/details]
