The zombies are slow-moving. If you’re going to question him question why everyone gets headshots. If you’ve ever fired a gun you know that’s a nigh impossibility to get headshots like that even if you’ve had military training.

As for the arrows, Daryl isn’t always on the screen. You may as well ask, “All this time and we haven’t seen any of them take a shit once. This is UNREAL!” Don’t be that guy.

even if you can rationalize away some of those minor inconsistencies, I doubt the durability of Daryl’s arrows has ever registered as a concern for the writing staff. you just ignore it because actually addressing this shit in the show would be boring

I don’t think anyone is rationalizing it anyway. How much more does one need to see to guess that he takes care of his ammo. He went like three our four episodes on one arrow and ending up making more for himself after that because the first one probably was a stinker after all those launches. And in this new season he’s using all new arrows. A whole quiver of them. That means everything he had in season 2 was replaced.

The show has actually gotten better about the little details. There will still be some suspension of disbelief but it’s easier to swallow than say “24”'s congested LA highways.

Just looked it up. Carl is 7 at the start of the comics and is probably close to 8 or 8 now. I don’t know if he’s supposed to be older in the TV series, but he doesn’t really look like a 12/13 year old to me. lol

If Fredo surrendered instead of running away like a scared slave, he would probably still be alive. He was obviously Dirty Sandchez’s bitch and with him gone, he was no threat, but Rick wasn’t going to chance it.
However, letting him die in probably the worst way imaginable was kind of harsh.

oh he def. would be just look at the other two. But he fucked with Rick and gave him reasonable doubt so he got offed, and in this fashion rick didn’t really kill him just banished him from the prison. /shrug. Either way Rick is finally becoming the Rick i know so i’m happy.

IGN: There was a clearly a prisoner who represented the Dexter character from the comics, and he got chopped in the head. How closely do the prisoners on the show match up with the ones in books?
Robert Kirkman: Well, Axel, the guy who says “Holy s***!” at the end of the premiere is from the comic book. So he’s the same. And so you’ll actually see him do some of the same things throughout the season, so be on the lookout for that. Those characters were pretty much the characters from the comic book series, although I will say that we’re not going to be doing the serial killer storyline, so don’t worry about that.

I was just f’ing with ya I’m not that conceited lol.

But yeah that have been laying the groundwork for them 2 in my opinion plus carl is only like 2-3 years younger than her (in the show). This series isn’t gonna end anytime soon and ish is about to hit the fan now that the Gov is here.

Carl is gonna start growing really big real soon, they are already making him more badass for his maturing , and with both characters exchanging looks, I see it happening either near the end of this season or next season.

No rules in the world + Daddy’s immobile + hormones + Carl’s new badassery = :tup:

IGN: At a certain point I guess you’d get used to it, but what’s it like when you’re first on set and they’re like, “All right, these are the two armless, jawless zombies that you’ll be dealing with”?

Gurira: You know, it was while we were in rehearsal… I had gone to work that day just to work with – I think it was a wardrobe fitting – and then I’d meandered into props, so I picked up the sword and started working with that. Then the director walked in the room, and so we just started to play with how we’re going to shoot that, that first scene. I was showing him what I thought could work, and we were talking about how to do it. Then he was like, “Come outside. Our zombie pets are here.” So we go outside, and there are the zombie pets. Then they put the things around their necks and put the things in my hand, and I was like, “Okay, this is weird. I am weirded out!” But I became good buddies with them, so now we’re cool. But it was like, “Wow, these are my pets.” [Laughs]

IGN: Obviously, at some point you would have seen, just physically, how he looks in the comic. Did they make that pretty clear before you got to the set, that they weren’t going to go with that physical look?

Morrissey: There was a bit of that, yeah. Again, it came a little from me as well in the sense that I wanted to make him my own. And I think what I like about the Governor and the TV series is, in the graphic novel we meet him and he is fully formed, he’s absolutely at the end of his psychological journey. He’s out there, and he’s got this town. He’s a real badass character, right off the bat. In the TV show I think we meet him much earlier in his personal journey, and I like that because it gives me more colors to play with. And as soon as you say, “Well, look, let’s play this man differently from in the book, introduce him to our main characters earlier in their lives,” then you can have more fun with it, I think.
