Yes he does. I think Taka is a bit weak right now, mainly because he doesn’t do enough damage compared to everyone else. You got guys like Jacky, Akira and Blaze doing 60 - 80 damage combos and Taka can do the same, but the others are so much more versatile than he is. I really think Taka needs to have some easy 70 - 80 damage combos to make up for that.

In Taka’s defense, if they made it so he changed other characters throws/made certain things impossible, he’d be just about as good as he used to be.
dont you think that the fact you cannot do alot of those high damage combos on him (from what i’ve seen) sort of balances it out a bit?
Oh yeah btw what’s that new dbplm move with akira? looks like dbplm anyway but sounds different, he’s looking sexy again after they made him so dull in vf5

You have valid points, but also remember that because of Taka’s size and weight, stuff that would never work on others works on him. i.e. Akira can combo 46P+K two times on him (dunno the damage) when on others it can only hit once.
Virtua_Leon: That move was 4PKG… it’s like Wolf and Lion’s RAW except it has an auto-counter.
I’ve never cared how nerfed Sarah was and now she’s looking hella beefy.

So is there any word of a US (or JAP, hell I’ll take that) port of VF5:R? I really hope it won’t end with ver.b on PS3 and ver.c on 360, console wise.
It’s barely been out a month yet, I doubt there’s gonna be console port talks yet.
This is a topic that annoys me, because all the latest games have gotten questions like this already. Stop asking for console ports/release dates/etc. There’s no way in hell that info on a release date is gonna get past us and the thread not get updated with the data. Please be more patient.
And if you meant a US arcade version that’s a pipe dream, because Sega isn’t doing localizations when there were like barely 3 VF4FT machines in all of NA.
