Gamespot has new vids with the English Commentary turned on. It’s kind of cheesy and really whack, but I thinks it good in a funny VF voice over kind of way. :wgrin:

Who needs online play when you got a dedicated scene? 
Just a heads up 2/24 is not a tournament. It’s more of a casual play gathering. If a tourney starts then its starts but its not planned.

Dont be itimidated by VF players that might be better than you. We are a great group of guys and girls that just like to play VF. The more interest the better

That’s okay, cause I still get my head mashed in at AI every wednesday with the SoCal VF heads. Alot of the players in SoCal are really nice though and will help you out and show you alot a cool stuff. Definately worth showing up to either event for the experience if you’re new. Beats the fuck out of Quest mode that’s for sure.
So who’s going to wait till the 360 version comes out? I don’t know if I can wait 6 months after the PS3 release.
Just use a friend who owns a PS3 to practice the game. In the end no matter what version of the game you get your gonna have to find a friend or local player to get good comp. If you are bent on saving $$$ then find a friend who got a PS3 and use him to play the game until the 360 version comes out. A smart idea would be to try and look for VF players in your area to gathering up. Chances are they aren’t gonna say no to you since playing VF by yourself absolutely sucks.
Lol you could start a scene/group with one PS3 and save loads of $$$ for more important things.

I really want this game, and if I do pick up a PS3 anytime before the 360 version comes out, this will be the first game I buy. The 360 version seems so far away 
Uhhh…don’t feel like reading all 25+ pages of this to find my answer, so I’ll just ask here: Has Sega said anything about being able to bring your character data over someone’s house and play them, like you could in Tekken 5 for the PS2? It would suck if, like VF4e, you can’t bring your character file over to your friends house and advance in rank/get gold/and show off your character.
I really don’t get why they doesn’t support it. Both T5 and SC3 can do it and isn’t that the point of the customizable characters to begin with?
Well I have yet to find someone who has a PS3 and mostly the people here aren’t into VF. If they did play VF, they would only play it for casual play which I guess is better than nothing but I need someone more hardcore than casual play. I dunno maybe something might later pop up when its released.

I do not even see the point of the customization feature, if that is the case. I’m surprised the VF development team dropped the ball so badly on that feature, considering how VS oriented the series is.
YES!! I finally learned how to crouch-cancel/crouch-buffer/whatever you call it in VF4 EVO. My chances of doing those crazy Akira combos has gone up by like 25%! I still suck with him, though (it seems that some of his combos are way too difficult considering the damage they give out).
…Uhh, most of VF4 Evo’s stuff work in VF5, right? I’ve seen new stuff in vids, but most of it looks like a refined VF4. Only major difference I’ve seen is the whole “bounce” feature that basically allows you to make your juggles even crazier. Supposedly Sarah’s been nerfed and Vanessa’s been beefed, but the rest of what I saw in a VFDC tier list seems predictable. Yes, I’ve already heard the “tiers don’t matter” stuff from all over the place, but I just get curious at times.
