thats not possible to play online, they might just get VF.TV tho, that’d be cool I hope that comes to the states as well when vf5 comes out to complment the arcade cab. it’slooking to be a great game.
the game is looking arcade perfect, going to be a a very slick rendition of the game, can’t wait until it hits stateside, or japan’s side, cuz there’s NO regional encoding ! i just want to play this, lots of stuff that’s similar to vf4, but there’ a good chunk of new like offensive evade. here’s a link to hk.tv, some really nice matches here, enjoi !

The PS3 is region free for games just like the PSP and other handhelds. But for movies it will be region locked.

What Sega meant about online from what I understand is access to VF.Net. As in your VF.net account(and through that, your characters) can be accessed on the PS3 version.

Here’s hoping that it comes to the Xbox 360. I loved Evo, so I hope VF5 hits the 360. I only hope they improve Goh in this game. Goh was my favorite character in Evo, but he was definitely on the bottom of the bottom tier.
- he didnt rip off christie montiero character as that character has been in the Dead or Alive universe since DOA for DC (game shark ftw)

I think it’s just for the PS3, and was declared exclusive at that. To the best of my knowledge, Sega actually knows what the word “exclusive” means, which is a pity.
Personally, I really think Microsoft should’ve ahem bribed Sega a very large sum of money to get a version - having VF would’ve helped out with their credibility immensely. Of course, it might’ve hacked off Itagaki and co. at Tecmo… er… they lose either way…
Yeah, DOA is no VF, but MS can’t really afford to burn bridges, and Ninja Gaiden is a good game…
