WTF i went to 3 different stores and they all have VF4 but not VF4:Evo. Wtf are the odds of that happening? Any places i should try? Ive been to Target, Gamestop, and a local CD Trader but all had VF4.
Just call places before you go I guess…got an EB near you?
Here’s a really tight new one, Kage vs Aoi. You’ll see a lot of nice new Kage stuff, including his new hit-throw.
the first Location Test videos that I saw had me worried, I first saw videos of the weaker stages:
-Dural’s Coloseum (Jeffrey vs Goh)
-the Penthouse Jazzy Party (Sarah vs Shun.
-Beach (Pai vs ElBlaze).
I was extremely worried when I saw those. Because they were the flattest looking stages.
BUT BUT! It all changed when I got to see the others stages, the next ones were beautifull.
-City cage,
-Lion’s mansion,
-Shaolin Temple,
-Wolf’s snowy stage,
-Great Wall,
-Muddy water,
-Water falls,
-Cherry Blossom trees stage.
-Aoi’s shrine stage at summer time is really one of the stages that stands out the most. Especially with the lighing filling the characters. “Presenting… The Brad Show!” LOLz
Brad Burns is probably the VF character that gets visually the most improved from his older incarnation from VF4evo/FT design-wise.
In VF5, he seems to have gained a truck load of charisma and personnality.
In VF4 evo he came across as average generic fighter throw into the fray.

Man i REALLY want to put some effort into coming back to VF. I put at least 5 months into VF4: Evo before i stopped mainly because there was no competition around to test out. Makes me wonder is it really worth it?

The Aoi vs Kage match was the best one I’ve seen so far. It’s bullshit the Aoi player didn’t win, but what can you do…
I hope they change Akira’s Daiden Housui. I don’t like how it launches you THAT high.
Man. The body sizes and weight distribution look so realistic in this game. That Lei Fei VS El Blaze video really highlights how well they have done in that regard. And all the stages rock so far, too.
Absolutely no official word from Sega on any kind of console port.
The one thing we do know is that if it does come to console, there still won’t be any online play.
I found something strange just now. Lik Sang is taking preorders for VF5 for the PS2 with a release date in July. I’m sure its an error on their part.
It “could” be VF4:FT. It’s rumored that Sega actually completed a console version for PS2 last year but opted out of releasing it because the VF4:Evo home release sold poorly. If they brought out FT for home at the same time as VF5 hit arcades, that would be sweet. 
It seemed that people prefered to play Evo at arcades than at home. One reason I can think of is that PS2 Evo won’t let you swap game data for vs. matches.
If this does in fact come to console they should do a better job with the customizable characters, for example the way they did the ranking and customs with T5 for PS2.
Dude original VF4 had the best system. You actually created a seperate player file on the memory card assigned to a character, then you just hit select at character select to choose your data file. You could even assign custom controller configs.
BTW that VF5 entry has been on there for a grip, who knows why it’s there.
New match. Looks like Kage’s old RO combos are nerfed.
