I tried this about a few years ago with no luck, so I figured meh, I’d try again. Basically, just a hub to talk about ANY TCG you desire, though I would leave out both MTG and YGO as both have their own threads. Any other TCG/CCG/LCG/DBG you want to talk about, feel free. Talk about a current one you’re playing, or even a discontinued one you used to play. Who knows, you might be able to find more like minded people than you thought. It’s not much, and I don’t expect the thread to really take off, but it’s worth a try.

I do. I’d argue it’s my main TCG right now.
It’s incredibly fun. Other than this recent issue with Mecha Frieza, the game is well balanced. A good amount of Regionals (run by ARG) have outdrawn YGO at the same events. Out of I believe 7 Regionals, we’ve had 5 different Leaders win and never any back to back winners. There’s only maybe a couple bad Leaders and every other one is at the very least playable. Promotions are good. Bandai is communicating a hell of a lot more than they used to.
The game is just fun.
Agreed, dropped Mtg for the time being just to play.
Outside of mecha Frieza don’t th8nk the game has fucked up balance.
People at my shop were saying set 3 sold leagues above the recent Pokemon and ygo sets, so I hope they can keep it going for a good while to come.
Well, part of that was due to DBS Set 3 being great…and both the recent Pokemon set and the recent Yugioh set being hot garbage. But on the same note, DBS had already broken into the Top 10 back in December, when they were barely 2 sets in. I can easily see it breaching the Top 5 (though not the Top 3).
Yea, Cross Worlds really fleshed out the game imo.
I know a lot of people have complained about how it’s power-creeped the game already, but couldn’t agree less lol. Hoping it stays around the speed it’s at right now for the next few sets.
People saying that are being dumb. Many of the things given in Set 3 were sorely needed for a lot of potential decks and archetypes, and they realized the importance of giving Leaders a way to gain advantage on their Unawakened side. The only issue is again, Mecha Frieza which Bandai is keeping a close eye on.
So I’m looking to protect my cards and weeb sleeves, does anyone know of any clear sleeves which are big enough to put sleeved cards in for double sleeving.
Only used to single sleeve but now I’m running cavern of souls and shit i figure i should start double sleeving.
Hmm, well I know of clear fitteds, but I’m not sure about the reverse.
Ultra pro and dragonshield make clear sleeves that should fit over some types of regular sleeves. I know people playing dbs use clear sleeves over the promo sleeves you can win.
Might need to check online for them though.

There’s plenty of TCGs that exist. And I mean PLENTY, and if you actually bothered to read (and I know you struggle with that concept) I also stated this thread would also want people to discuss older, dead TCGs that they’ve played.

Not trying to just turn this into the DBS card thread, but damn if Mecha-GT isn’t actually empowering to use lol…feels like the game has a real combo deck for the moment.

Weiss Schwarz is fun but a fucking mess, nothing like getting fucked early game because half your climaxs in hand, or watching your opponent who’s barely thinned his deck and has just played a climax cancel your damage all 3 times when any one would kill him then swing for lethal on the next turn.
Take that shit seriously and you are gonna get salty as fuck lol.

The Star Wars game looks interesting but with few people I know who plays, I never got into it.
But there a store that is just as big into this as they are in MTG.
Problem is I really don’t want to deal with Target or Wallmart for TCG, I rather support the Hobby/ Game stores as they hold events, weekly and nightly games, and have general play space for casual play.
I dont see most of these TCGs in the hobby stores near me.
