I’m just glad we won’t have to wait too much longer for substantial news. Summer is right around the corner! I think we’ll probably hear from Ono-san during Evo if anything. But the event this time around is nearly a month long! I swear I wanna punch dat Rona in the RNA.

Tbh i believe the best way to have as many as possible characters will be Soul Calibur 3’s approach
SC3 had a slot in the character selection dedicated to “bonus characters” that hosted iirc 17 extra characters
For SF you can make something like that with almost no balancing/testing/fixing, then limit them to friendly matches… simple as that
Ranked = standard cast only
Friendly = standard AND bonus cast
Good way to make money on us casuals that love shining shit and we want many char as possible
That way the pro scene can even get the small cast they ever dream about… imagine a SF game where standard cast is like 20, while the extra “bonus” cast is like 40

You know as much as Capcom has mentioned it and as many concepts for the character that they’ve done. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gen’s Apprentice takes up the new character role.

Ugh… Elena? Please, no. Everyone who wasn’t using her in USFIV hated her. And she doesn’t serve any purpose at all in the story. If we are going the “indigenous” way, bring in the big guns!

Not that i dislike the idea (at all, give me a SF version of MotW Gato pls), but problem is i don’t see them launch a “normal” new character in the very last year of the game
If they add a new face i expect it to be more on the bullshit one-shot boss/crazy char, rather than a normal figure you can find in normal standard cast
I’ve never liked Rose, and I don’t think Elena feels necessary, but again, Sodom being in the roster would be my one and only wish here (but I’ll be fine if he ends up not making a reappearance, though).

I downloaded the guide so I can change things more freely. I wonder for how long that option is activated.
I went to the sharing options and removed all the users besides me and @bakfromon. So now, only us are able to edit the file.
Can anyone with a one drive account test if it’s working properly now?
Try saving deleting the letter “T” from the “THE” word.
I tried with a different username, but I was still being able to edit the file from the desktop option (the browser quick edit option seem to be gone).
Maybe @bakfromon can help? I don’t know if he being the file owner this can be fixed. Or… it’s a one drive bug.

Edit: Upon closer inspection, they are different. Unless he’s done a set of sprites I haven’t seen. Laura’s pose for example is completely different.

problems with Gen’s apprentice is that it conflict with Chun li, Yun and Yang.
If he had resources might as we’ll just use it to remake Remy to a better version.
