The Ultra Inevitable Street Fighter V Story Thread

My hope for SF6 is to further branch out to different countries/nationalities that never been explored before. For example: an Aussie character, Tribal character, Philippines, Canada, the Nordic countries of Europe, Central America, and another African country aside from Kenya and Egypt.

I am still hoping for:

1- A Nubian Fire Herald for Gill to contrast and compliment Kolin.
2- A Bollywood Singer/Dancer/Actor/Fighter complete with theatrical and exaggerated stereotypical gimmicks (Holi Powder special FX mandatory).
3- Scandinavian Fighter, possibly Viking-Inspired (Search Techno Viking for reference).
4- Persian Female Fighter
5- JCVD homage complete with the splits and a love for Belgian chocolates.

Nah, the “fire herald” ought to be an Italian mob type guy. No ideals, just a brute with a volcanic temper to contrast Kolin. Gill is the literal midpoint between them.

The Illuminati are not mob types. They are an ancient religion with branches of their cult all over the world. A “Geras-esque” Fire Herald will further cement the society’s reach in other parts of the world.

The 2 heralds are expressions of 2 opposite sides of Gill. Therefore the characters need to be opposite too.

A male black character from the Southern Hemisphere to contrast the white female from the North. He can be brutal and volcanic in his temperament for sure.

If you want another Italian, you can have that yo-yo kid who is always with Menat in the comics.

I’ll take the mobster if you ask me.

Sure.

But I still don’t think a mobster should be Gill’s Fire Herald. That’s not Gill’s style IMHO.

I would call him R.Vulcano

I allow it

Thank you.

I’ll take “tom” than any skinny teen wielding a yoyo or a plastic toy, musical instrument against shadaloo or akuma. Just prevent SF being having meme fighters. That teen belong to gatcha dispenser toys or card game that is cringe not street fighter.

I really enjoyed the Final Fight series, but I always had this question: why was Final Fight 2 and 3 never in the Arcade? Since the Arcade scene was booming with beat 'em ups back in the day and Final Fight originated from there, I never quite understood why the following games got direct SNES releases instead.

I assume that time the genre is almost dying, and FGs starts to take over. It was snes timeline so it’s definitely FGs ruling the arcade scene.

Beat em ups like FF need to compete with konami great titles like TMNT, Simpsons, Xmen and whatever popular franchise turned into beat em up which Final Fight cannot same as Double Dragon.

Even the titles like Double Dragon and Golden Axe already join the bandwagon of the FG genre because it was the future of arcade gaming in the perspective in that era. Street of Rage also stay in the console.

I never own a console that time during the genesis vs snes so my means to enjoy gaming was outside.

Street Fighter really has a lot of countries to explore still
Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Argentina, Peru, Cuba, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia come to mind

Tbh the Illuminati are willing to accept anybody can be useful, willing to left the past behind and focus on whatever the Illuminati want them to do

Kolin - former milita
Necro & Effie - former ravers? Lol
Nash - former dead USA soldier

Ironically V.Rosso joke aside, his EX story fill the curriculum for a decent Illuminati employ

-extremely able fighter
-smart (become a skilled detective in fexl)
-have international links with underworld figures
-just left the Syndacate for the lack of principles (some kind of betrayal happened)
-lost his only apparent personal link (dead GF)
-literally say farewell “adios!”(in spanish lol) to old life

If he sent the curriculum illuminati will have been called same day for a job lol

Her spirit and faith is what attracted Gill.

Kidnapped. Weaponized. I hardly would call that “acceptance”.

Same as above.

There’s an element of that but also some “grooming”, for lack of a better term. They take in people in a vulnerable position and promise them lives of fortune and fulfilment. Kolin was a soldier of a country that probably doesn’t exist anymore, Necro wanted a better life so did Effie probably and they took advantage of Nash’s past encounters with Bison.

So we could say that they target people that more easy to manipulate.

FALSE, The Secret Society is not just putting random people that show obedience to follow them or hate towards the opposition in front of delicate mission, or just in a less fortunate.

Secret Society had standards and obedience is the least of their concern.

Remember Nash isn’t just someone that has hate towards Shadaloo but he is a high ranking elite soldier and a former US champion that also mentored Guile. That has mastered a technique that is exclusive for a few individuals.

They choose Nash instead of the healthy and vengeful Guile or other random person that is willing to take down shadaloo like THawk or the likes of Cammy, Abel or etc that has been infused with Psycho Power.

Same as Urien being disappointed with Eleven.

Gill Starting a tournament to find his chosen one, instead of randomly picking a assumed strong invidual or someone that is already part of the organization because of being a follower.

This is why they had traitors and full of anti- heroes type of individual on there team because obedience and loyalty to the cause is not the top priority or just grabbing individual that can easily be manipulate. The only successful follower was Kolin which is just like FANG.

Wich proof “previous life” background itself is’nt important, but desiderable personal traits and psychological/emotional state are

Indeed
They’re inclined to pick people they can manipulate, wich Is classic shady religious cult way

What i’m saying Is just that as long the person looks to them fitting the role they want, they don’t seem to be picky on from where they came from… specially because the First thing Is exactly about leave behind the past and begin a new life as illuminati member

To recycle the V.Rosso joke example above, the problem with him that make him a “NO” will not be his Syndacate/mafia past but the fact he is’nt in search of a new cause to blind embrace/some new Boss/org to serve (in fact in fexl he started working for himself)

Individualism and lack of faith will be the barrier there

Nash had no faith either but tbh Nash himself don’t see himself as an Illuminato and for them Is good like that, as theyr cause was the same.

Only one to do exception Is Urien Who could have even employed Rog/Ed for other jobs if Rog was’nt stupid greedy and Ed did’nt left for Freedom… But Urien opposite of Illuminati in that sense, he does’nt require Faith because he’s the First to not have it

WRONG! they were not, that’s why they recruit outside people that are skilled to do their bidding rather than looking for willing participants and volunteer that is already within their organization.

Like Juri? Necro? Nash ? Rashid? Tom? Alex?

What? “is good like that because they are the same” lol what?
Nash is fighting for his own terms not their interest. Again ALEX?

the only thing they were successful is the likes of Twelve that has no memories, and probably they know that the likes of twelve is what they need. After recruitment problems.

I disagree, prefer her design and her gameplay.
