Best inspiration for the more latter Lucia for future reappearance

Guys, I may’ve forgotten but was Shin Akuma always called True Akuma in SFV? I recently picked back the game after the new DLC characters (Honda etc.).

Some random stuff

Honda’s VT2 throw Is fucking fun match ender as It automatically trigger the stage ko cutscene… Essentially you see him pick up and throw people against walls/doors/objects and seem one single long animation lol

Hard to notice from promotional pics, but they roided up Bison af to match as possible SFA body, he became huge af (finally dwarf akuma lol) and the cape add a lot
I suggest try play again ASF final battle chapter using SFA alt for Bison, is fucking epic shit, now it seem a real BOSS fight
While at it it’s a shame they never got the epic ASF alt crumbling version of that stage, we only got the silly version with toy robots and pink ninja playing together

I got why new Lucia look/haircut/jacket felt familiar to me, i think one of inspirations may have ben may been

Wait hold up… Lucia is from Puerto Rico? Yet has the heaviest NYC accent? How does that work out?

A Puerto Rican that grew up in NYC. People like Lucia are not uncommon.

And in the Japanese version she has the stereotypical Ōsaka accent. It does surprise me a bit that Capcom took this long to cover this cliché.
In her original FF3 version she spoke normal Japanese, of course…

Half the Puerto Ricans I’ve met have been from NY.

Of course they did that, further lending credence to the theory that Capcom didn’t really plan anything past S3 until shortly after AE…

And why in the actual fuck is Ada WONG given to Kolin instead of Chun? I get there might be a bit too many Chun costumes, but blondewashing other franchises is just dumb.

If anything, the femme fatale Ada Wong costume have been given to the femme fatale Juri.

Kolin fits with Ada’s character moreso than Chun.

Disagree. Ada is a spy above anything else and Juri is no spy. Kolin role in ASF is similar to what Ada would do. Only difference being Ada would work on her own instead of manipulating a team together. Viper is the most like Ada out of any SF character but she’s not in the game.

But she is working as a spy with C.Viper. She has a codename and everything.

Kolin so far has been a gopher.

She’s not working with Viper. She’s reacting to her presence figuring something big is happening if she’s investigating it. That line is Viper warning her to not interfere.

I guess you are right. Having that super high-tech bike that Juri just found on the street that can go from Brazil to London is a jiffy made me see things. I am sure she found out Kolin’s private secret telephone number in the yellow pages book, not from some spying organization.

Juri’s “Spider” nickname predates her relationship with Viper and was there from SF4/SIN.Also the CIA’s code names usually are made up of a color and an animal.

Juri is not affiliated with anyone but herself, and she has proven to be quite independent and resourceful. Her finding Kolin’s number is proof of her capabilities more than anything.

Regarding the bike, just because we did not see Juri get on a plane from Brazil to London, does not mean she traveled there by bike. Not everything needs to be spelled out. Especially the painfully obvious.

Helen aka Kolin put the “team” together. The only surprise addition was Cammy.

Additionally, C.I.A. Secret agents do not call other agents by their names. If Juri was unrelated, Viper would have called her Juri, just like Chun-li did.

Viper and Juri were both agents of SIN, and know each other on code name basis. The only difference is, Viper was working for the CIA and Juri was working for herself.

No, he was called just Akuma when AE came out. He got renamed to True Akuma later on.
