That same VA voices the female lead in Fire Emblem, the FE voice is completely different.

I personally would’ve liked to had seen Axl or Slash as a Final Fight representative if they were going to make a zako character into a playable character in a Street Fighter game, but I’m guessing Axl is probably too similar-looking to Alex (even their names are similar). I always thought Axl and Slash’s biker outfit was really cool.
Someone at Capcom must have really liked Axel Rose, since not only do we have those two, but there’s also Aleksey Zalazof (aka Biff Slamkovich) from Muscle Bomber.
I always wondered if Capcom ever got any complaints about Axl and Slash or even Andore when the original Final Fight came out and that might had been a possible cause for the M. Bison name swapping in Street Fighter II or the fact Andore later went on to become Hugo in 2nd Impact.
Funny how these are still ten times better than the fanservice quotes (which make up about 70% of all the winquotes in the game) we got in SFV.

I actually really like Jeannie Tirado as a voice actor.
Although, i think her Lucia voice feels just a tad bit off.

Man I have seen this that some people in fb tends to claim so negatively on this because they judge wrongly on how things should be unique and different in a fighting game.
Many didn’t realize that this is a fighting game, a punch is a punch most of the left handed punch would be lightly would land lighter if gonna hit than the right fist. It’s always about the game plan and slightly altered moves poses with each characters. Having similar 2 to 4 normals isn’t really a copy of something.
As for Lucia she is very KOFish indeed many pointed out more on K dash because the flames and this one move.
Kyo is a good comparison too like that photo
but there more than meets the eye.
Many had talked and discussed a lot about Lucia but never notice interesting stuff.
I knew some would see her more of an amalgam of KOF characters, but predominantly she is an equivalent of King instead from SNK games but with fire which is a widely used elemental power-up effects.
Most of his attacks are more executed from the foot rather than the fist.
As for normals in KOF are mostly just similar to other characters like this one.

Yet it’s more King not just for the moveset along with the character personality of being boyish/tomboy and blonde. Adding up is because the newer Robert is just a later iteration and not the most popular version of him compare to king that was more consistent…
Plus having a special friendship with Cody that they spar too.

The thread I got it from was trying to shit on capcom for doing it. A lot of the 16ers don’t really seem to know how much stuff Capcom has been influenced and then influenced in other places. Japan doesn’t seem to have the same hang up as the US when it comes to paying homage to stuff they like.
In the US it seems to be “oh no you stole it you lazy bastards”.
In Japan it seems to be “We love it so much we want to pay it homage by including it.”
Different perspective and all that.

Not much else for her to take off. She’s wearing Dazzy Dukes, a sports bra, a open leather jacket, and some Chuck Taylor’s. Her swimsuit costume provides more coverage.
