Both dios x and infrit would disagree lol… Imo ppl discredit sent for no reason because of his nerfs and large hurt box which was,his problem in mvc2… The character is still A problem

instant overheards. slow, REALLY needs momentum, usually pretty screwed if you dont get the incoming character on mixup and easy to rushdown. i honestly reeealy dont like sentinel
that didn’t stop him in marvel 2 so why is it an issue here? is it because he ain’t a sponge now or some shit?
EDIT: I’m gonna try to record some magnus play at my friends session this weekend. Hopefully when that goes through you all will get to see whether or not I improved gameplay wise.
he takes more damage this game, and there is more damage in combos in this game then in marvel 2. and because its so easy to open him up, he will surely die easily. also, he was much faster in marvel 2 because of his godlike flight/unfly. not to mention massive damage in few hits(hits that will come with an assist like commando or cyclops). also chip damage on block with his normals. sentinel is nowhere near his marvel 2 status.
With that said, would you recommend having him on point instead of anchor? Maybe that way he can abuse disruptor + other assist to get in and stomp some shit
Ideally he should be second with an assist backing him up like Tatsu, Missiles, or Jam Session… but then most characters get more out of Drones than he does from their assists.

Only time sentinel gets opened is from bad blocking much like most characters … His flight is still fast minus the fact he cant air dash… Only ironmans flight is faster and rather use sent over tony
While we are talking about marvel 2 sentinel. If I remember right, there were tons of characters that had infinite that only worked on sentinel?

standing sentinel, and that was performed by sentinel doing a bad hyper sentinel force. and its just too hard to block instant over heads because i highly doubt youre going to want to stand block and be opened up so easily to lows. sentinels assist is good, but i hate him as a character. i find that the people who beat me with sentinel are just overall better players than me(eg. joker).
