RayRay has him second too.
and to be fair, Rei-chan’s team works in ANY order.

Exactly. Furthermore, all Wesker needs is that estakka, and I think we can all more or less conclude the following: Vergil is a slightly more self-sufficient anchor than Magneto. Something about swords, teleports 'n such.
God damn that deadpool btw :>
Chou is the one running Wesker/Magneto/Vergil. Personally I don’t like it as opposed to Magneto anchor since Vergil get’s more mileage out of Disruptor than Magneto gets out of Rapid Slash.
if they start going too low(something you will recognize mid combo as you do it more) you have to sj up forward and do M instead of H
yes, chou, my bad, my bad. I keep confusing them both since KVO.
I cant believe I never noticed this before, but if you fly, air dash down or down forward to the point that you’re hovering as close to the ground as you can get and then do any normal + S, the S won’t come out, it’ll only unfly you and cancel your normal on block or hit, which makes you instantly touch the ground. This means fly, ADDF, j.m quickly cancelled into S, cr.L is the fastest high/low in the game, as the time between when j.M hits to the point cr.L starts up is completely removed. Even tri-jump j.L, cr.L is slower since there are frames where you’re still in the air after the j.L hits. More importantly, you can choose to do more than one j.M for a sick fuzzy guard set up that combos even the smallest characters crouching (tested on RR). This is way better than doing just raw fly on the ground and going for an overhead since the fly is easily react-able, while the high/low is not and they have no way of knowing if you’re going to go for two overheads or one.
For some reason, floating down to the ground and doing j.M (any normal works by the way) xx S causes the S to come out, you have to airdash into the ground for this to work, but its as simple as normal jumping up, flying and airdashing down/forward like in a tri-jump. On whiff, you can cancel the normal by unflying manually which makes it safe as long as you confirm your whiffs.
it seems like a dope high/low, but doesnt the act of doing fly make it functionally slower than hte usual barrage of high low Ls?
Setting it up is slower, but the actual time one has to block the high and the low is reduced. If they block your assist, you easily have enough time to set this up though, since you can just fly across the screen. I think its interesting just for the fuzzy guard capabilities. That shit is whats really dirty.
your telling me that on an incoming character, I can call in drones and do gravitation, they block the drones and i jump fly and do this? test this now please (my ps3 ain’t working).
Pretty much. I was doing it with repulsor blast on the crouching dummy, it worked every time unless I waited too long.
it’s funny robo cause i’ve been doing a similar setup with repulsor/drones and it’s nuts how insane it is to try and block it all lol block
this setup sounds more stupid than the attraction side switch, but not as easy or practical as the simple trijump Ls. Anyone feel like making a video?
I’ll try to record something tomorrow. I realized while typing it how weird it sounds, but in practice its simple.
please and thank you.
I see what he means, you can zig zag air dash off a fly get really close to your opponent, cancel the jM into S and nothing will come out and youll land immediately giving you a ridiculous high/low 50/50 like Magneto’s usual stuff, it wont work off the normal grounded fly, but will work off the superjump fly zigzag dash and should be easily coverable with Sent Drones.
Edit: I’m sure all of you ran into this before when trying to confirm off throws at super jump height by going into flight and zigzagging to JMMS to only get standing S, and this is the same thing, just pretty brilliant to think of its use for technology
Anyone keeping an archive of all this tech? Too much for me to remember.
Way ahead of you lol
I posted this awhile back, its pretty good its gotta be set-up with drones or something though. Another neat thing too is if you cross up while still in fly mode and youre close to the opponent, they still face the direction they were facing before you cross up (really messes with the eyes if you call an assist then cross up). also fly can float over crouchers too.
Am I a complete idiot for just learning today that you can tridash off a normal jump and get jM/H/S by plinking, why arent people doing this in tourney, hell they have better hitboxes and they wont whiff on characters like wolverine if they are crouching.
On another note, considering the Magnetic Blasts have different speeds(L slowest speed fastest startup, H fastest speed slowest startup best recovery) what versions do you prefer for:
Normal Jump Blast
IAD Boxdash Blast(H Blast won’t come out off a IAD plinked boxdash blast)
Back boxdash Blast
Super Jump Zoning spam blasts
Super jump addf blasts
Every tournament Magnus plinks the normal j.L fanatiq, rayray, etc.
